Ima try and find some info on that, I deal with Situational Anxiety and it's a bitch😅 unless I'm pissed off or already very comfortable with the people around me

You're in the military or a vet I presume lol

You could have a signal issue, SNR, bad equipment, loose fittings or a hot bond that's causing the internet issues. I'd get a tech over there to check it out

As of now only Roku and Samsung tvs can utilize the app. And even then I've seen it sometimes not work right if you aren't coded for it, but I've seen it work for people who have our internet and they weren't coded for it either too. The app is so wonky

Hell, if it was buried by shovel I'd be surprised if it's more than 6". They don't give us field techs a ditch digger, they give us a small short flat shovel😅

For now, soon only xumo will have spectrum tv app.

Depends on whose behind the phone or desk, I've seen plenty of desk people say then do it😅

Amd getting rid of phone will cause bill to go up, as it's a bundle deal they like to toss in for people who don't even use their landlines. It's annoying

Valid, a lot of our cpe is refurbished

I hate to say this, but reset the xumo. You should have seen a blue Spectrum screen on the live services screen when you first activated it. I've seen it lately skipping it and going right to live TV, which always causes problems.

With that said, they won't monitor up between the poles with either a passive or active device, but if the technicians are doing their job they're checking the tap to cpe for problems and referring any problems at the tap to maintenance.

As a field tech, I can see anyone's CPE that's on spectrum services for the last 30 days easily. That means the signal at the CPE, how long and how many times the cpe has gone offline, and all the signals/SNR, and a lot more. I have my buddy from Hawaii send me his Account number so I can look him up on my scope tool all the time😅

Not all field techs get that shift. I'm 9 hours x 5 days with 1 hour lunches that I rarely use this time of year😅

You get to volunteer? We all have to pick 2 holidays each year. Christmas is on rotation, though, so until everyone has had it I won't again for years.

To the OP It is double time and a half, which is nice and is only 8-5p(unless the job runs you over and you're an hour from home). Also, if the holiday falls on your day off, you do get your next shift off with 8 hours of holiday pay; unless you have to call out the shift before or after, which is pretty normal.

I've been here a few years and most days do enjoy the job as a field tech, however there have also been many days that my blood pressure was too high😅 feel free to reach out about anything if you're still interested in working for Spectrum.

This is crazy, I feel like you've tried to help them out and their just to upset from the before situation.

I've heard they want to charge us per hour of gameplay😅 I swear I'll start my own company before I do that lmao

How are you actually talking with them?

Wait, throwing it out doesn't mean dumping it out though right?
