Who is your 4th line for next season?
Assuming Tkachuk, Stützle, Batherson, Giroux, Norris, Pinto, Greig, Perron, Amadio are locks.
Which player will you miss the most?
Whether it's their skill, personality or whatever reason. Maybe you don't hold any attachment to these players and that's OK.
Steal. Still have ~5m to play with.
Nah Amadio is worth his contract. Knights fan loved him, good metrics.
Perron on the other hand
Perron is not an upgrade on Joseph at all.
Perron is one dimensional, undisciplined and doesn't play the PK.
Joseph is worth his contract. He'll be your best bottom 6 forward and it won't be close, kind of strange how a teams fan base who loves MattyJo was acquired for nothing.
Whats your overall take on Staois moves so far?
• Personally I think he's been meh. Giving up Joseph and assets for nothing is... something. Why sign the fossil that is Perron to a 4m contract when he's a downgrade on Matty Jo? Makes no sense.
• Not a good return on Chychrun either.
• Branny should be a Senator still IMO, but I understand people who aren't Branny truthers.
• No Hamonic buyout
I'd give Staois a B-, but mostly because of Ullmark trade otherwise it'd be much lower.
Can't believe a player like Joseph who is worth his contract is being shipped out with assets for nothing. Then you see Lyubishkin, Edmundson and Dumba getting term and $3m contracts
NHL GMs make no sense, and truly don't understand the value of NHL players
Ryder, Halak and a 2nd
Thought it was Nate Schmidt lol
7 million dished out to 2 7th defensemen
Finally Duclair settles down...
Stephenson, Stamkos, Marchessault, Skjei.
O/U 2.5 for landing those players?
Stamkos to Nashville, 4 years 8 million.
Teravainen - Bedard - Bertuzzi
Apologize to Zub before u sign David
Underrated team. Selke winner in OReilly, Vezina calibre goalie Saros, Norris winner Josi, young studs in Novak and Evangelista. Tons of cap space, great place to live, Barry Trotz.
Predators landing Marchessault, Stamkos and maybe Skjei must have Preds fans creaming their pants
Steal. Still have ~5m to play with.
[Sens Comms] Roster update: The Sens have agreed to terms with forward Shane Pinto on a two-year, $7.5M contract. The $3.75M AAV breakdown: $2.5M in '24-'25 and $5M in '25-26.
