I had one of these when I was 18. A 328i I bought from the auction Salvage title for $450 no one wanted it and reason was that it had rolled over or hail im not sure. Fixed it up, inspected, and drove it total was around 1,400 for parts and inspection. Later crashed it and was gone use a $500 335i for parts bcuz the engine didn’t work. Made the engine work and now I have that. Did an engine replacement and it works. Point being if you can’t outright buy it or do the work yourself then don’t finance it. Jobs at 17 don’t really pay enough for all that anyways.

I believe the issue why people don’t get hybrids is that once that battery goes out it’s like 15k to change it out for some reason. And people would rather buy an ICE instead. Also why most people shy away from teslas and other Electric vehicles
