Haha. Yeah, we all grew up with plastic on the "good" sofas. I'd love to get a Labrador each of the three colours. I have a chocolate but he's barely manageable. Bit different with cats I guess. I love my cats but I haven't had one in a while. We moved house and my rescue decided he didn't like the new place and went back to the old one, twice. I hope he's okay.
