Interesting! Sardine fishing moratorium since 2015. TIL!

California Sardines in (Meyer) Lemon Rings is about to hit the SF Bay Area food scene, mark my words :)

Apologies for the dumb question. I have a lightsaber from Savi's, and I would like to bring it to the Star Wars After Dark event that I have tickets for. What do I do with it if I want to go on rides? It seems like it would be a bit long, awkward, and could potentially break if I ride with it. TIA!

I work at a trauma center, and they name the unknown patients by phonetic alphabet names. My favorite is Whiskey Trauma.

My son recently turned 21, and realized that he doesn't like the effect that alcohol has on him. He absolutely loves mocktails, though, and knocks a couple back when we go out to eat.

We would go there driving back from Lake Tahoe to San Francisco. I got the chicken with almonds every time. I loved the water chestnuts as a kid!

Thank you! I couldn't find anything about that track from Google. I guess I read way to much into Gord's intro lol!

Fifty-Mission Cap Live Version, Fully Completely

Hello,

I'm a fairly new Hip fan, and absolutely love Fifty-Mission Cap. I can't stop listening to that song!

My question is about the live version on Fully Completely. Is it recorded in Japan, and that's why Gord begins with "konnichiwa"?

If so, when he says, "In your case Fifty-Million Cap," is that referring to the Japanese's competency in flying during WWII?

One last question, if I may. Is the general reference to working in a Fifty-Mission Cap to look like that a dig at Henry Hudson's lack of flying experience and possibly hubris, which led to the navigation issue/crash?

Thank you!

I was just there in May, and it was pretty good! I'm glad I got to try it before they closed.

I had an excellent meal at the Gallagher's Steakhouse in New York, New York Las Vegas hotel. I didn't realize it was a take on this original restaurant.

I'm from Toronto, and have lived in the SF Bay Area for decades. When I come back to visit family, I go to concerts, small club shows, and music festivals. I eat Greek food on Danforth, fish and chips, and poutine. The craft brewery scene is great, I make the rounds at several of them. Watch local sports teams with local fans (the Leafs in the playoffs in May was fun). There's also beautiful parks and gardens. Toronto Island is a nice day. I've done Casa Loma and the Hop on Hop off bus to get really touristy. Plenty of stuff for out of towners to experience.

Yet we have the same amount of senators as Wyoming.

I went into the Mad Hatter on Tuesday for a classic cap with ears, and my name embroidered on it. The CM asked about the outfit I was wearing, and I told them I was doing a Galaxy's Edge Disneybound. They thought I looked good, and handed me the Honorary Citizen's badge. I was super geeked-out excited! I had no idea that some people were made to answer trivia questions to get the badge.

California has many beautiful campsites. We welcome out of state campers!

The Dickies' cover of it is fun!

I just watched the Adam Eats the 80s episode where they showed a guy's candy collection, he had every color of this coffin and a bunch more stuff. It's a fun food nostalgia show on Hulu.
