Maindeck is control. Arise-heart is stun.

The way people play it most often? Stun.

I consider Shifter and floodgates as their win condition.

Vaylantz.

Searching Senet Switch. Thought the deck would be neat and funny. Then I played against it...

People keep saying go second build is cool.

But I only face Fossil dyna turbo every time. That makes me sad.

D-link is alright. Not insane but doesn't need more.

They take 9 minutes to make a few interruptions.

Same exact lines, prefer to not see them often again.

Huh Spright got first place in a tournament in China. 60 card Adventure Melffy Spright. Magicians souls package, Bonfire gets into Lampsies or Nemeses flag for Eschatos. I know Mannequin Cat can do spicy things.

1 of Soul Release main deck? Exodius: hell yeah.

Man cooked up a storm. Well played to them. What makes Spright good currently?

1.) Facing a niche off-meta archetype. Only for the deck to rely entirely on generic floodgates. Like bro I let you cook and you feed me skill drain, summon limit? Nah. Disappointed every time.

2.) A neat match between 2 equal power archetypes that could've been a banger. Only for 1 person to resolve Maxx "C" and they win on the spot.

3.) Stun

Pendulumsoup Electrumite

Exosister Dimension Shifter

Promethean Princess; Bestower Of Unnecessary Extension

Bagooska the Tapir; Terribly Tired Of Takin' Trash Tier 'types To The Top

Floowandereeze Feather Storm

Runick Summon Limit; Bane Of The Schmidt

Floodgates; Saviors Of Jank

It's very expensive. It can win and reach max rank. Going second is a massive struggle. Dinomorphia is a stun deck. Rexterm is the only win condition they have. Dinomorphia can rebuild unlike regular stun but the grind game is still lukewarm.

Functionally you are playing gimmicky skill drain turbo with extra solemns. Won games by negating everything and my opponent doesn't really get to "Play the game". Lose going second. Just like normal stun. I seem harsh but I was baited into playing Dinomorphia with the whole "LIVIN' ON THE EDGE" playstyle and freaking sick mecha dinos.

If you like stun give it a shot. But it was a letdown for me.

Puppet lock just feels awful.

Another of the "Nothing you can do" game states master duel has plenty of.

Objectively they don't win much. But damn does it make me not play the game after facing 'em.

Protos, Shifter, Maxx "C", Dyna + statues, Floodgates in general.

Only fun for 1 player.

Risky and unnecessary.

You can just make an FTK/OTK deck to breeze through the gem rewards quickly.

I treat solo mode as the "I'm sick of the floodgates" relax type game mode. Just chill and have some low stakes YGO.

Even the custom decks can be neat to try. We know you ain't playing Elementsabers anytime soon anyways

Floodgates in general.

Mid range decks where the duelist isn't familiar with them, makes odd plays, ends on a very weak board;

Only for their final card to be a floodgate. The archetype doesn't matter in the outcome of the duel.

The correct floodgate solos any deck if the out is not drawn.

The random "Uncommon archetype" piles that combo for too long just to sit on 1 out of archetype floodgate.

I get it playing weaker archetypes is a struggle.

But we coulda just skipped 10 minutes of "Wow I'm excited to see what this archetype does! Might be a cool duel!"

And go straight to "Oh it's Protos. Welp don't got an out... GGWP"

Please my hopes can only be crushed so many times.

As a newer player; it took over a year of playing to be able to interact with cool new stuff in updates.

For the longest time I wasn't excited about updates.

Most rebalanced or new gear was too expensive. Most new updates simply didn't have the levels to do.

I loved Varlamore because I could explore a sick looking continent regardless of being broke.

I will forever stand behind "bridging the gap" in the PvM ladder. Scurrius and Moons are great.

People forget the early noob struggles (Before you know how everything works). Takes a while for this game to click.

Neat in theory. In practice just relies completely on floodgates. Floodgates are lame.

Pay 800.

Butler can only be used during main phase. Non-aggression area needs to be activated during the standby.

At that point just take a page out of Tenpai and run heat wave lmao.

I don't get why people go so crazy over win more techs. They are bricks if you are even/behind. If you are winning you can usually close out a game without them.

I guess I'm glad the Burn player won over Stun.

It's like finding a dead mouse.

Feels horrible but at least it is not a dead rat.

You have to play through it. I agree.

But most people built their decks with Maxx "C" in mind and play handtraps to draw into.

So you lost the coin toss, lost the mini-game and you have to pray they dont draw enough interrupts to stop your otk

Can feel very coinflippy at times.

For sure. Anything can get max rank if you play enough.

I'd try to fit Called by the grave and Crossout designator. I'd assume you'd lose to Maxx "C" often with this.

Kash and Horus are engines that mostly help with going first. You have 0 actual boardbreakers though?

I'd play Super-poly and Talents if you wanna go all gas no handtraps. Test around and see what fits for you.

It feels nice to play (non-floodgate) trap decks rn. Mannadium and SHS pendulum style 7 negate decks are not represented often.

Even going second Daruma cannon + a couple traps is enough to survive most matchups. Everybody is playing Veilers and Mourners to deal with Snake-eyes. Please continue using your Promethean/S:P on the Paleos.

Best part: You don't instantly lose the moment Maxx "C" resolves like 90% of archetypes. Hate the mini-game.

If I only want the Hide on bush ward and nothing else; The regular poor person pass is enough to get that right?

Such large numbers combined with FOMO feels truly scummy.

I get it. The content isn't for me. It is for the Chinese whales. That is fine.

"Buy stuff" has been every event for a long while now. I'm just not hyped for any events anymore. I hope they do something cool like give Ryze Fakers glasses for a week or something.

Triumph always.

Unless your teammate picks Nasus/stackers. Then take Absorb life and delete every single wave the nanosecond it is on the same screen as your stacker.

I don't make the rules; it's just how it is.

I just want playable reptiles man.

Ban snake rain, give 'em massive snake tits, I don't care at this point just give 'em an effect that does anything.

Technically yes.

Practically no.

(Assumming both players play close to optimally)

You need 15 handtraps for snake-eye. You draw 'em vs a Fossil dyna.

Get hit by the "C", forced to pass. They go tribute Vanity's.

Get shiftered, pass on nothing. They go normal Boarder set 4.

Match into a turn skip, don't draw handtraps, get demoted, lose last hour of progress.

I dislike how they keep so many floodgates and turn skips legal in Master duel.

Pendulum.

Came back to the game after a break. Go out and play.

The week that PEPE was legal.

If they drop unicorn and you lose to arise-heart you have to veiler it. But after you veiler Unicorn they will do a full Snake-eye combo.

If I see Galaxy hundred I know it is galaxy; they won't pivot directly into spright combo after.

Irl unicorn banishing a 60$ mandatory card sucks. The counter play is to play an extra copy. Not being able to afford it makes me feel poor. I just don't like the targeted extra deck banish mechanic.
