L Citrulline, two sticks of celery every day, I take a male performance supplement from ancient nutrition that has a lot of nose to tail components. Horse chestnut for blood flow, a good b vitamin complex, bone broth, Panax ginseng, and black cumin seed or black seed for short. Tons of water! If you do all this your hair will also benefit.

Horticulturist and farm seed guy here, purple tops are generally known for their tops for cattle feed in cover crop mixes. Culinary uses are also for their tops in greens recipes. ( Steamed to your preference, drizzled with butter or bacon grease and ad some minced fresh garlic in there!)

Great soil, for growing tomatoes, I typically have better luck planting my turnips on Labor Day, the tubers do better as the days get shorter and the nights get cooler. The plant will recognize the coming winter and send its energy down to the root.

I hope your heart is filled with the love you felt from your buddy. You gave him a beautiful life. He was part of your journey, let his memory fill your heart with happiness.

I lost my boy to cancer in January, shedding a tear right now for both our boys. Much love from Colorado my friend!!!

I wouldn’t worry too much about cancer until you get some imaging. How old are you? Weight loss can be a lot of things. Were you an athlete, did you play sports. How is your blood sugar?

What were your blood cell counts? My brother was having some trouble with his enzymes from stress and sugar and his were in the 300 range.

How much weight have you lost?

Those aren’t terrible, you can get those numbers down in a couple of weeks with some salads and some exercise. Maybe try a couple of the things I mentioned. Remember stress can send them upwards as a defense mechanism for inflammation.

Heck yeah, great meal and congratulations on your new house. May it be filled with love and happiness for you and your family and friends!

Milk thistle and dandelion roots. Eat a bunch of radishes, arugula and celery. try to get a shot of apple cider vinegar in the morning. Just think bitter is for the liver.

Intermittent fasting can help, it sends you into mild ketosis which empties the liver and gallbladder of sludge. A castor oil pack over the liver helps to clean it. Drink an excessive amount of water, take some good vitamins and like others have said, no sugar for a minute. You got this! What were your numbers?

I’m 47, (m), eat pretty healthy, probably similar to you. I have a small vegetable patch, work out a few times a week and help coach various sports for my kids. My cholesterol ranges between 230 and 175, I know this because I donate blood every 2 months.

Honestly you’re a couple of salads and a good night’s sleep from being in range. I wouldn’t worry too much about a 207 total number. I take berberine, a plant sterol that I get at my vitamin store and load up on the vitamin D, make sure to take some vitamin k with it. Magnesium, zinc, a bit of copper and vitamin C should be good enough. Sneak a couple of radishes and some leafy greens in while you’re harvesting.

Keep on rocking it, don’t worry too much about the numbers at your age, keep an eye on them next decade.

This plant is one of my favorites in my garden, it’s gotten a little bit aggressive and is being thinned this weekend. You can plant these in KC, plant the seeds around thanksgiving so the can stratify over winter. Remember perennials don’t seed the first year. Hope you enjoyed our city.

Dude it’s Tuesday, WTH do you good Disney going friends do for a living?

My wife just beat stage three, her vitamin d levels were low, 25 nl/ml. She was in superb shape when she was diagnosed. The oncologist told us 99% of all breast cancer patients have a vitamin d level of less than 50. She takes 10000 iu per day and we get pretty good sun living in Colorado. Breast cancer rates have skyrocketed for some reason. Make sure your getting enough vitamin k, and magnesium as well. ECGC has been promising in studies, NAC , NADH, and Alpha Lipoic acid as well for free radicals.

That sprinkler is a synonym for the wait time for the ride!!!

Asian ginseng is “Panax ginseng “ good for blood flow, brain function and blood pressure. This is considered hot ginseng and used for the bedroom. American ginseng “Panax quinquefoleus” is more known for its free radical grabbing and anti cancer uses. Still also good for blood flow.

Watch the purity of the product, there’s more ginseng on the shelves than there’s plants in the forests so somebody isn’t telling the truth.

Grateful Dead Working Man’s Dead

Thank you for the compliment, I’m just a 47 year old guy who has utilized supplements along with a lifestyle change to improve my health.

For the kidneys the antioxidant and blood sugar lowering supplements like berberine and Alpha Lipoic Acid are great.

For pregnancy you really want to stick with the vitamins. We had so many friends struggle with pregnancy 15 to 20 years ago or so and some of it was the diet and mineral intake. There’s a company called WeNatal, they are specifically designed for both men and women. I am not connected with them in any way but they seem to be very specific for prenatal health.

Most supplements that are not vitamins probably should be stopped during pregnancy because the baby can’t process them while the organs are forming.

Best of luck to you.

I saw that and looked into it pretty significantly. The data sets were pretty picked over for their conclusions. They didn’t publish all of the data which seems odd. I have intermittent fasted for years and know a lot of people who do and our N of 1 experience is that it greatly reduces your body fat. My best guess would be that the increase of exercise without proper training accompanied the fasting and people with plaque in their arteries tried to go jogging and had episodes.

I don’t know of many risks that come from reducing your eating window to burn fat.

Agreed, real keto sucks, time restricted eating is just a mild form of ketosis, it takes a couple of days without sugar or carbs for true ketosis to set in.

Dandelion root, NAC helps cleanse and repair damaged cells, NADH for repair. I take these plus berberine, turmeric, and milk thistle before my first meal every day.

Try to eat a salad every day. Most US grocery stores have a boxed spring mix with dark leafy greens, those are great for basically pulling toxins from your body. Add celery and radishes to the salad as well. Add a small amount of protein like salmon or chicken. Red meat once a week as well.

Try some intermittent fasting, strictly water, black coffee or green tea for 18 hours at least. It will help your body get to ketosis which will clean the fat around your liver first. Don’t be afraid of the feeling you get from fasting, it sucks for the first week.

Throw in a heavy dose of good vitamins, D, K2, Magnesium, B complex, zinc, vitamin C, and a really good multivitamin.

Yoga! The stretching and breath work are awesome.

Donate blood if you can, forcing your body to make new blood instead of carrying the old sludge around.

You got this man, I had the same revelation about 5 years ago, although I still enjoy my beer, but my body feels great now.

Yo buddy get checked for sleep apnea, once I got a mouth guard and finally fixed my sleep apnea I was able to sleep all night. Once I slept my inflammation went down each day, which cured my reflux.
