I was going to make pulled pork sandwiches for a party we're hosting for approximately 30 people. I was going to go off of Hey Grill Hey's Recipe and she stated that pork shoulder should be smoked for about 2 hours per pound.

If I wanted to smoke 20 pounds of pork shoulder total, instead of getting one 20 pound cut and smoking for 40 hours (according to the math), could I have two 10 pound cuts in the smoker at the same time and smoke for only 20 hours? Or would that increase the time significantly since there is now twice the amount of meat?
