Hi everyone. Is anyone else in Vancouver BC? My pharmacy called to say they can’t fill my prescription because of a shortage. Has anyone recently found the 0.5 pen in the lower mainland? I’m about to start calling around.
Great! I’ve lost 20 lbs since surgery and I’m thrilled with my results
I’m late to this post but I was on escitalipram for over ten years and gained a lot of weight. I also had two pregnancies during that time. I was constantly hungry. I weaned off in the Spring and have lost 40 pounds. I am way less hungry now. It’s pretty unbelievable. What sucks now, though, is my anxiety is back in full force. Hard to weigh (pun intended) the pros and cons.
Are you in Vancouver? Where do you fill your prescription?
I’ve had SO many comments on my body. I get it. It’s awkward and I often feel like I owe an explanation, but we don’t.
Long. The mid is an awkward length imo. I’d do the cropped or long.
Skin Medica Scar Recovery Gel. I should also add I have waited nearly two years to get the top rated surgeon in my city. It’s worth it to go with the best.
My surgery was only three months ago and my vertical scars are almost invisible. I wasn’t keen on the look either but I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been using the scar gel my surgeon provided.
I felt the same way! Had all the feelings the night before and the morning of surgery. I’m 13 WPO now and I can tell you it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Couldn’t be happier. Best of luck to you!!
Edited for spelling error.
Felt like a c-section but worse. The shooting nerve pain was horrible for a few weeks. It improves quickly but those first ten days are rough.
Writing a follow up to this. I spoke to my PS at my last appointment and he said the indent is likely an internal stitch that can take up to 6 months to dissolve. I am 2.5 months post op now. I was incorrect before; the indent is not from my piercing. I misunderstood him the first time I asked. He said this should resolve once the stitch dissolves but if it doesn't, he will fix it. Fingers crossed...
Not really. I hear you, but being born in the wrong body is different from electing to repair your body after childbirth. I’ve had a tummy tuck and diastases repair and would’ve obviously loved it covered since I was in a ton of pain from it. It sucks that women’s issues aren’t taken as seriously as they should be, BUT I don’t think this is the same as someone needing often life-saving gender affirming surgery.
Thanks so much. I’m super happy with my other results. I had been so focused on healing that I didn’t think much of the bellybutton but I’m starting to notice it now 😬
