• "Jawbone" by Monica Ojeda

  • "The Houseguest: And Other Stories" by Amparo Dávila

  • "Lost in The Garden" by Adam S. Leslie is a new book I've been dying to get my hands on

  • "Maggots Screaming!" by Max Booth III

This is a random mix but the first horror-ish weird lit books I could think of!

I went crazy when that came out. The two improvisational kings 👑👑

Favourite Streams Ever?

What do you keep going back to? I tend to be on a rotation of "Independence Stream", "Easy Sunday (No Calls)", and the Amsterdam concert.

Anything to really get pumped!

RB: Clyde Edwards Helaire

Clyde is the clear handcuff to Pacheco with essentially zero competition, and the run game has been a huge part of the KC offence of late. Clyde looked good at the end of last year, and there's a TON of work to be had should Pacheco get injured. One of the highest upside handcuffs available

WR: Demarcus Robinson

Carved out a role for himself last season, usurping Tutu Atwell as the Rams' WR3. Once he fully claimed that role (weeks 13-17) he was the WR20 overall for that period. Robinson got paid this offseason, so the Rams clearly want to pick up where they left off, and Robinson is currently the WR80 in ADP. He has standalone flex value, and even more if Kupp or Puka get injured.

TE: Jonnu Smith

The Dolphins TE room were dead last in YAC last year, and this is their move to fix that. Jonnu is coming off the back of a career year in receptions and receiving yards (50 for 582) and did so competing at the position with Kyle Pitts, only getting a 58% snap share.

Despite clearly being a much better blocking TE than a receiving one, Durham Smythe lined up in the slot on 30% of his snaps last season. He was also their 3rd leading receiver, and had a catchable target rate of 86% (2nd among TEs across the league).

The Dolphins also ran 21 personnel more than anyone in the league last year, so he should stay on the field.

They filled a Jonnu-sized hole with a blocking TE last year. He's never been in such a high-powered offence fitted so perfectly to his dynamic skill-set.

Wheels up 🛞

Not only did they draft him, but they traded up for him! It's rare you get a RB that has TWO paths to contingent upside as well as potential standalone value

That's a correlation vs causation question. He was blessed with two strong perimeter receivers in Seattle, and didn't have much of anything last season other than Sutton and RBs to throw to.

I can't remember the last time he had a very good TE so it's hard to know what his tendencies will be when he has talent at the position.

Pat Freiermuth is going to end up being a huge value this year. He could end up being the team's 2nd biggest target and the biggest endzone threat!

The way I see it is to avoid players on your team because you're already rooting for them. Eliminate the possibility of that player ruining both fantasy AND real life ball in one bad game.

That being said, I'll have unbiased takes on players and I'll hop on that if the price is right

Frankfurt Hahn, a Ryanair exclusive. It literally takes nearly two hours to get to Frankfurt from it, and it doesn't have a single shop

This is in relation to things like "yield" signs that would typically be filled with white inside the red outline

That's true I apologise!

I would consider an RB's prime around the 25/26 range, but I could see last season being his peak before a drop off for sure

I manage the social media channels and write content + copy for a renewable energy company. Overall I like marketing compared to the many other jobs I've had, but I was silly to think that this kind of work would satisfy my creative writing itch.

Everything goes through so many levels of approval, each of which feels they have to put their own stamp on it, that by the time it's ready to publish you don't recognize the work anymore.

I'd highly recommend Alternative Energy Ireland. The lads have a very honest approach and really do what's best for you. If something won't work or won't be efficient they'll tell you straight up.

They subtract your grant from the initial price, and they'll go apply for that for you then, which was so handy.

What players outside of the UK in Euro 2024 have loose Irish connections?Sport

Looking for someone to root for in the tournament and this could be a good way to decide!

The UK is too easy to find connections to. I want to hear about the more unexpected ones!

I'm thinking things like Xabi Alonso having a minor county medal. Silly connections that don't mean much but are fun!

Ass. I think UDFA Ramon Jefferson has a better chance of impressing than Bucky does

If we're strictly talking the guys I mentioned, I'll take James here. He has the best balance of upside and opportunity.

If you'd consider using a taxi squad spot on a 0% rostered UDFA Running Back, I'd use it on Ramon Jefferson.

I don't think it'd be impossible for him to overtake Bucky Irving for the RB2 spot in Tampa.

In his 20-21 Season at Sam Houston, among all collegiate RBs with 100+ carries, he was:

6th in MTF/Att

22nd in Yards After Contact p/Att

87th percentile 10 yard split

95th percentile Vert and broad

He had 1,000 yard seasons at Maine and Sam Houston.

He also played under the Bucs OC in college, so they're familiar with eachother.
