If you didn't care, you wouldn't have responded like you had an obligation. You don't know me, but you try and judge me anyway as a "shit person" is foolish. I'm just tired of these people getting their cars stolen. But most of them aren't doing anything to prevent it, which is a big reason why they're stolen so much. There's so many products in the automotive security market, there's no excuse. They tried to get my moms kia, I told her to get a club, she did, they haven't stolen it yet, and she lives in the west end. She also has a much older vehicle that's apparently harder to steal than her kia. You enjoy the rest of your night, too.

Then you shouldn't care what she's doing regardless. It doesn't affect you. People are going to do what they want with their own lives. This isn't about me, what I'd do, or what I sound like. She obviously doesn't care and doesn't have a reason to.

You cared enough to make a post and respond. I don't see what's odd about it.

They do if they've taken no responsibility to insure it's security, when the very make they own is stolen so much, it was a damn tiktok challenge. And they're just stealing them because it's easy, not because they have any theft value or desire, like the mopars do. How does one spend eight thousand or more on a car that's been stolen for a solid four years, like an amazon package, and think "they won't still mine," as it sits on a quiet neighborhood street? All these extra security devices on the market to at least make it harder to steal, and these idiots buy none, not one, for their car that's gonna be stolen at 3am and tboned by a stolen TrackHawk at 3:35 am, at a slideshow.

It's the equivalent of walking down the street waving money in your hand like it's a church fan. Somebody is gonna run up and snatch your money. That's why we keep money in pockets, wallets, and purses. That's why we have steering wheel clubs, brake clubs, boots, immobilizers, lo jack, onstar.

To steal a Hellcat, a Scatpack, a TrackHawk or TRX these days, you need skills found in heist movies, and hope they don't come out shooting. To steal a kia/hyundai, all you need is a usb cable and a screw driver, and the owner will just be sound asleep believing that their car despite them being stolen in large numbers since covid, will never get stolen.

I'm speaking with logic, not emotion. If the kid died a year ago, yeah I'd agree, but if it was 5+ years prior to the wedding, then it's time for the OP to move on. Like I said; context. The family should be sensitive, but how long are they supposed to keep pandering?

People die everyday and the world keeps turning. What if on that day, her family member wins the lottery one day, are they not allowed to be happy about it? Should the family do nothing positive and just sit in misery every time that day rolls around for as long as the family line exist? If the op expects anything near these crazy situations, then that's just as selfish, and eventually ends up pushing people away, which does happen.

Which goes back to nobody is going to care as much as the op, eventually. It's just the truth. No matter how much somebody cares about anything, if it didn't happen to them directly, they'll never care as much about it as the person it happened to wants them to.

I do, because at this point it's just negligence. The shits been on the news, been all over social media since the begining of covid. Surely people have talked about it. There's just no way to not know about these thefts, and when one does find out and it doesn't cross their mind that "huh... maybe take $14 and buy a club, so my car doesn't get stolen like the other thousands," and instead rely on hopes & prayers that it won't, is fucking idiocy. The mopar owners and dealers are doing all they can to keep theirs from being stolen, the fuck is wrong with kia/hyundai owners?

Why don't you stop associating with her, if she's a problem? Is it selfish having her wedding day on that day, maybe, depends on context. To think that your family should never have any positive function on that day ever, sounds just as selfish. Ultimately... no matter how much somebody does care, no one will care as much as you do about it, and after a while, it won't have as much impact to others.

Are people still getting them stolen three years after it became a tiktok trend and national news?

It's just sex, what's to be embarrassed about? I just write it like I write anything else, there's no steeling my mind in preparation. Just write it, it's not the big deal you think it is.

If it has conviction, and puts in the time and effort, anything is possible.

Or apparently anything to keep the very easily stolen car, that's been getting stolen since '19 from getting stolen.

Crazy there's still owners who've done nothing to prevent theft for nearly five years of it.

We got a bunch of stupid kia/hyundai owners, that's what we have going on. Anybody getting their kia/hyundai stolen in 2024, deserve it, when this has been going on since like 2019.

As history has taught us.

You'd think the christian god would have a problem with people speaking for him in such a way, or at least the gawd-fearin folks wouldn't be putting words in his mouth, ya know... because of fear.

If it's plagiarism, then you really should do something, if it isn't then you just gotta cope. There's writing the same story, and there's writing the same story. Just because you're writing how Garfield falls in love with Heithcliff, doesn't mean somebody else can't. If you have a real issue then talk to them, venting aside, there's nothing we can do about it.

No it's not. Stupid ass overpriced prices aside; at best I'd offer 200 if they took that garbage briggs off. A General isn't even really desirable like that.

I've written romance, have nowhere near that in views. I think it's like 163, I still don'f complain.

Then they're fucking bullshit, why do we need them? They kept saying these are also passports and you'll soon have no choice but to spend extra money for no reason to pay for it.

No, if they did that, it would be called the GT43. Even if all that's true, the GT40 is called that because of the roof height. The GT is taller. But of course it's not like ford never lied cough mustang "5-0" cough before.

The Real ID is supposed to be a passport, isn't that the point of them, aside from muscling more money from us?

So it'd be more like BNC and Lock? lol. I've seen it discussed into near oblivion on BikeForum. It's usually just extras, or what didn't meet the companies quality standards... or like you said, or maybe there might be a small defect, like a mold issue. It doesn't mean the frame is trash, it's really so the companies aren't losing that much money, and/or can make more money. That's why some bikes look alike, too. I remember back when I had a Mongoose Deception, and there was at the time a Cannondale that was the exact same thing, sans the fork.
