Looks to have power brakes, steering and a/c from factory? Looks nice. Clean her up and drive her!
Buy it. Especially if you are mechanically inclined. I’d snatch this up In a heartbeat and be ready to swap/rebuild the engine and transmission. As well as bushings, etc.
Should be a fuse for the port. Probably blown. Swap a good fuse in and try the reader again.
Absolutely. I use it pulling a loaded car haul on flat stretches. I don’t like how much it shifts going up and down hills but otherwise for sure.
Oh yeah and the 16 stands for 16” barrel. You probably inferred as much but I wanted to give the complete model explanation.
Gen 1 piston bcg’s weren’t hardened like the Gen 1.5 and Gen 2. The piston rod interface on the bolt carrier head “could” deform and/or break. I have not personally seen this.
The model is CQBPS16-MARS. CQB stands for the 9.25” quad rail upper, PS stands for piston, and MARS stands for the completely ambi lower. I would say go for it, I paid $2200 for a new one back in 2020. New go for more now.
Gr.1. It’s an absolutely incredible car. Ran a 5:37 on Nurburgring with it the other day, my quickest lap yet. Only VGT I drive regularly. It’s great at everything. Look up Prianaos 950pp tune for it.
Music off, engine noises at +1.5 and transmission at +3.5. I like to hear the trans whine like real racing cars.
So I took a truck I was looking into, a 2019 Sierra 1500, to a local shop(who I would consider the best) and asked about getting its tailgate replaced since it’s aluminum and was dented up. Over $1900. It’s an SLT with the camera, multi-pro tailgate and bed liner. Missouri/Illinois area.
Oh man, that looks sweet. Did you have a body shop do all the work or? That green is out of this world. Please post an update with it back together 100% and polished up.
They simply don’t make things like they used to. Hopefully it was just a defect and the next one last as it should.
Nice! I just finished installing a new master cylinder on my ‘68 myself. And brake lines, booster, drums, lugs, bushings, etc etc.
I got this for my birthday too this year just after buying the game. It’s my irl favorite car and I was on cloud nine. It drives like a true race car should, I like just throwing RH on and hitting Nurburgring. Congrats and enjoy this beast!
I had a similar issue with my 2016 but it wouldn’t start! Showing the same symptoms as your 2018, I got out to check the cables on the battery and could very easily move my ground cable. Tightened it down and it’s been good for 1 1/2 years.
Subscribed. Look forward to the process.
Sharp truck. I really like the chrome accents on the all black look Mfg’s are doing nowadays.
