It has not.  They said the actual desktop sizes for the desk I ordered are backordered six weeks.

Experiences with Uppeal Design?Fluff

Ordered my 72" x 60" L shaped desk from them back in February. Got all the packages. The return tabletop was damaged during shipping. Uppeal had me send pictures of the packaging and the damage then after a few days they sent a new tabletop.

Once I got that new tabletop I tried to start assembly, but found that the main tabletop is only 59.5" long instead of the 72" I ordered.

I sent them pictures with measuring tape over everything so they could see the measurements. Still waiting for a response from that one.

I hope they can just send me the correct size tabletop. The experience hasn't been great so far. Maybe I should've purchased an Uplift Desk instead. I really want the floor sitting "feature".

Audio Sources: Remove Amazon Music?Help / Question

For those with a 2023 or newer and the 10.5" infotainment system; is there any way to disable the Amazon Music source?

Whenever I cycle through the sources using the steering wheel buttons (I try not to reach over and look at / touch the screen while I'm driving) and pass Amazon Music, once I stop at the source I want it automatically switches back to Amazon Music after a few seconds.

It doesn't matter if I'm currently in Apple CarPlay or one of the infotainment system's other screens. If I cycle through the sources with the button on the steering wheel, passing Amazon music will cause the system to go back to it after a some seconds.

Ever find anything? All I can find is for the previous version that had the column of shortcut keys to the right of the Enter key.

Most people would disagree due to personal experience owning a first year or two model of a redesign... then seeing the third, fourth and so on years of that model fix "bugs", oversights etc. that owners of the first few years complain about.

  • The large check-in is full of clothes.

  • The check-in cargo box is full of "pasalubong" (I'll let you Google the translation of that Filipino word)

  • The carry-on has more clothes and work stuff (I'm remotely working as well on this two month long trip)

  • The personal item (backpack in my case) has documents for traveling with the urn, travel necessities, etc. and I'm told, has to fit under the seat in front of me.

Someone from the Developer's "executive marketing team" contacted me and said that Cox had purchased the conduit going into the neighborhood, but that it's available for any ISP to run their infrastructure through and that there was nothing stopping CenturyLink / Quantum from running infrastructure to this new neighborhood other than monetary considerations / (would running infrastructure cost more than the money they'd make from new customers in the neighborhood)...

... but all of this is new to me and I did not know before that this is how neighborhoods get different ISP options.

No Quantum Fiber in a new neighborhood flanked by neighborhoods with Quantum Fiber?Fiber Help

We bought a home in a new neighborhood and was hoping to switch over to Quantum Fiber from Cox. Quantum Fiber support told me though that this new neighborhood "does not qualify for Quantum Fiber" (their exact wording).

The neighborhoods on each side of our new neighborhood, both have Quantum Fiber though. Is this normal?

How long should we expect it to take for Quantum Fiber to be available in our new neighborhood?

Ah that's it? That's their updater utility?

It did not see that UEFI F.03 was available even though my Spectre was on F.02.

Just ran it and it did not detect the available BIOS update as well. My Spectre was on F.02 and it did not see that F.03 was available.

HP Software Utility for Driver & Firmware Updates?General

I have a new Spectre x360 14t. I've been using it for a few days, but cannot find anything installed that checks for driver and firmware updates. Does HP not have such a utility?

I'm coming from a Dell and they had a very useful utility called Dell Command Update that was there specifically to check for driver and firmware updates.

Best way to mount a rack-mount switch flat against the front of On-Q / Legrand Door?Advice

Ok so my home came with a 30-inch On-Q / Legrand "network" enclosure which has a hinged door. All of it is plastic.

https://www.legrand.us/audio-visual/structured-wiring-enclosures/plastic-enclosures/30-inch-plastic-enclosure-with-trim-ring-and-hinged-door/p/enp3050na

I know you can mount switches onto racks with mounting ears, but how do I go about mounting a switch directly onto the outside of the enclosure door? Tons of 3M double sided mounting tape? I don't think I've seen adapters that screw onto where the rack mount ears do, but allow mounting onto the surface parallel to the underside of the switch.

Uppeal Desks and Keyboard TraysHalp

Anyone with an Uppeal Desk have any success installing a Humanscale 6G Keyboard Tray?

My concern is with the metal brace / crossbar supporting and connecting the two legs. Compared to Uplift Desks, the Uppeal's seems much closer forward leaving less room for a keyboard tray.

Residential Low-Voltage / Network Wiring?

Anyone here know of a company in town that can run new low-voltage / network wiring in a residential unit?

What's the cable manager you're using at the top of the door there in the second picture?

Make Uplift Frame Go Lower?Halp

I'm looking at Uplift right now and have lots of accessories (Sidecar Shelf, CPU Holder, Desk Extension, Tall privacy panels all around, keyboard tray, under-desk drawers with shelf) in the cart with the desk and am prepared to submit that cart, but I really want a desk that can lower to ground-seating level.

Is there a way to make Uplift's frame go lower than 22.6" (Uppeal's frames can go down to 14.7").

Zone Wireless 2 Dongle Interfering with Bolt DongleSupport

I've been using a Zone Wireless 2 headset for the past two weeks and in that time have been experiencing interference (cursor lagging and intermittently not working) with my MX Master 3S / Bolt dongle. Computer is a Windows 11 Dell Optiplex.

As soon as I unplug the Zone's dongle, the mouse starts working properly. I tried the same (plugging both the Zone Wireless 2's dongle and the MX Master 3S's Bolt dongle) in a M3 Macbook Pro.. Same issue.

I may just replace the fans with wifi "SimpleConnect" fans from Hunter. The one I have in the living room has been working perfectly for the last couple of years in my Homekit setup.

Oooh they have a hardware hub available like Starling home hub.

How would Home Assistant green / yellow allow my non-smart fans to work with Homekit? Would I also need to buy a Bond bridge?

Looks good. Too bad it doesn't turn them into homekit fans like Starling home hub does for my Nest stuff.

Hunter Ceiling Fan with only a remote. Make it "Smart"?

I have two Hunter Dempsey ceiling fans. Both can be controlled with their included RF remotes or wall switch (fan on/off, lights on/off).

The remote has FCC ID: IN2TX41 434Mhz

What do I need to make them "smart"? I'm an Apple user so Homekit compatibility would be best.

Alternative to Clipchamp?

I don't even know where to ask this, but ended up here because it concerns finding something better than Clipchamp.

I'm trying to create a simple slideshow:

- Import a song

- Import photos

- Set each photo to display the same amount of time so that when all photos are set to this and the slideshow is played, they span the length of the imported song.

Clipchamp can't do this. What "slideshow maker" can?
