My husband just took a Medicare class via HVCC. He said it was a good class to cover some of the basics.

If you're not able to do that, we considered doing a consult with a lawyer that specializes in Medicare.

We would eat here when we visited. I remember getting a mixed drink sampler with four or so small mixed drinks.

I believe the fries were served in cones?

Yep. OP is another person who goes online to complain after a cruise rather than going online to do research before a cruise.

It's honestly one of our favorite places. Food is solid, prices are fair, and drinks can be fun.

When I was looking at hotels, this is why I went for the Caesars properties. Their suites still had fridges in them and I need a fridge for my medication.

For a while, my husband had to forego most animal protein, so he became an expert on salads. One of his favorites is from Brass Balls. He gets it with chicken now, but it comes with apples and I believe walnuts on it. Plus, bonus points for the fact that Brass Balls' prices are still decent for the beach.

If you are on board, they are called Hero Cards. They will be at Guest Services and a lot of restaurants will have them at the check-in kiosk.

The Hero Cards mean a lot to the staff. It plays into their time off and promotions.

You can also comment on an employee in your post-cruise survey.

We often ask to take pictures of their name tags so we can ensure we have their names correct.

Try Zachary's Pastry Shoppe in East Greenbush. They do sugar cookies cut in shapes with sugar or icing on top. I've called in a special order in the past.

THIS is what I was looking for -- their ice cream is amazing. I just wish they would bring back the Mexican hot chocolate ice cream from a couple of years ago.

There are other good ice creams around, but for interesting hard flavors that taste amazing, this is the place to go.

The really sad part is that there are garbage cans everywhere. It’s not as if there’s no place to put it.

Huh? We went on vacation in July 2020. I’m a diabetic and my husband was six months post kidney transplant, so definitely immunocompromised. Live your life. That’s why you’re here.

And is the wife jealous of the child? If he spends time with the kid, what is her reaction going to be?

What a mess.

Take a look at Norwegian. You might have to invest in a real pair of shoes, but at least one of their main dining rooms on each ship allows shorts. They also have a pub-like venue that will be open most of the night (I think they close for 30 minutes or so to allow for transitioning to breakfast). They menu won't be large overnight, but it will give you an option.

Room service is always an option on all lines, but there is a delivery fee.

We have VSP. It's a chain, but we go to Visionworks in East Greenbush. The people there are always nice and guide you towards the best deals for what you want/need.

I would not split. She will lose some of the benefits by meeting you outside for meals and will be separated from you during embarkation.

Kids are common in the Haven—on some ships that’s the only place where there are 2-bedroom cabins.

You can join people in their room, but not in the courtyard, bar or restaurant. This means if she wants to use any of those amenities, she will be doing it by herself.

Haven passengers also get special seating in the theater and priority disembarkation at most ports. She wouldn’t be able to fully use that benefit if she wants to join you.

If you are sailing on an older ship that uses a specialty restaurant for breakfast and lunch, it wouldn’t be as bad. We prefer the Haven dinner menu over most specialty restaurants. Plus, the service in the Haven is superior.

The Haven is pricey, so I understand why people are hesitant to book it. MSC Yacht Club prices are often better if you want the whole family to do the ship-within-a-ship experience for less money.

Wagner. Boundary Breaks has a covered pavilion.

I go to Pixie. Plenty of men get their hair cut there.

I’d be afraid Mom would apply for an absentee ballot and vote for me.

I highly doubt it. Speeding is one thing...it's common, but it's the stupidity that lives on.

The worst part about this is the people the idiot involved.
