Oldest mistake in the book. Whatever you placed it on or put it in wasn’t hot yet. That gives you a bland sear and more uncooked fat than you wanted.

DHL is the only reliable shipper to Brazil. USPS will often go to customs, no one will be notified, and it will be returned. Tracking will also stop when it enters Brazil.
Fedex can work but it’s more costly and often has the same problems as USPS.
Always go to the DHL site and get the shipping cost and the tax code for the item you’re shipping. If you go to a shipper they will do it their own way, be conservative and charge more. They’re also unlikely to have a regular relationship with DHL and charge more due to that.
Once it arrives (as you already experienced), customs will often notify the receiver that their package is there — all they have to do pay the 100% tariff. Some items get through, others don’t.
Anything with a battery needs to be shipped separately. There is a limit of one battery item per shipment.
