Hi my cat has idiopathic cystitis (3 episodes within 2 months) he’s 5 years old 17 pounds and he’s half tabby half Maine coon. I’ve been trying anything and absolutely everything to avoid these episodes but even small events like leaving the house for too long has been causing them. I’ve been back and forth from the vet with this most recent episode because he now has blood in his urine and he’s barely dribbling to pee. The vet said his bladder is tiny and that he would just let me get a urine sample at home instead of pressing on his bladder and stressing him out more. He’s been taking cystaid, gabapentin, and just finished a dose of onsior. Today they gave me acepromazine, prazosin, and enrofloxacin to combine with his other meds. I was reading that the acepromazine can cause sedation and I was wondering if it was safe to give him that with the gabapentin. The vet said it was safe to give him the two but this is a new vet that I saw and I didn’t know if I should worry about giving these two to him. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you so much.

Where are some places I can find a good used washer and dryer? I’m moving into a new apartment and need to find something cheap. I’ve checked out thrift stores but can’t seem to find any.

I live in an apartment. My old ac started smoking a week ago in the middle of the night. Told management. She got maintenance to put in an old one. This was absolutely covered in mold on the inside which I took pictures of. Told my apartment management I need a new ac because the current one has been giving me asthma attacks. (I have a long history with asthma.) Maintenance man came this morning. Sprayed an entire bottle of bleach solution into my ac unit. His eyes started to burn and he told me to open the door. He told me he wanted to put in a new ac unit but the apartment management told him he had to do this instead. He then turned on the ac unit which sprayed bleach all over my bedding and ruined it which I also took pictures of. He was profusely apologizing over and over and you could tell he was extremely worried when he left. I had to skip work today. Since this morning I’ve had my windows and doors wide open and the bleach smell has still been horrible. Mind you I live in a 325 sqft apartment with zero ventilation. I’ve been sick all day from it (throat eyes and nose burning, dizzy, and throwing up) even standing on my balcony. I’m now having to sleep on my balcony with my cat. I don’t have money to stay at a hotel or move somewhere. My friend won’t let me stay with her. I’m 21 years old and I have no clue as to how I should go about this. Do I have a case? What should I do?

In a few days I’ll be admitted into a treatment center for 45-90 days. Everything’s been going downhill for a while now and I haven’t been doing anything about it. Ive had agoraphobia since I was 7 and now at 21 I’ve landed back in a place where I refuse to even step foot outside. Haven’t done laundry since Easter, only use grocery delivery services, and take little to no care of myself. I’ve also gotten really bad substance abuse and eating disorder wise. I was apprehensive at first but then I found out they do daily outings to grocery stores, restaurants, hikes, and rope courses. Which will be good exposure therapy. I quit my job and have decided it’s time to get help. Wish me luck!!
