I think people care less for brands and just more about what looks good / is trendy. Which from time to time a brand can be a trend

My phone refused to accept that spelling 😭 kept autocorrecting on me but I thought I got it

I swear my phone refused to let me spell it the right way 😭 I tried

If you're in BG, stop by Call of the Canyon and give the Ruben on rye a try. I don't think you'd be disappointed. I've heard great things

Edit: also give Big Apple Deli on Woodville Road a try! That was a favorite of mine growing up in that neighborhood

Perrysburg has nice fields next to 475. Springfield high schools baseball complex has some decent diamonds usually open to the public. BGs Carter park is nice. Walbridge has a nice little diamond at loop park. I was biking in Whitehouse and rode past some nice looking fields there. Wauseon has a very nice complex. I'm sure there's more these are just ones I've been too lol

I lived there this last year and while there's problems, no place will be perfect. I have enjoyed my time at copper beech, but my least favorite part of it is how far it is from everything. And the shuttle is only from 7a-4p during the school year, so that sucks

Cooper beech has phenomenal internet that is easy to connect to, no set up required on your part. The edge has good internet, but you need your own router and if you have a poor router, you'll get poor internet. Also you'll likely need two routers because there's no ethernet ports in the middle of the apartments there and my router didn't reach the other two bedrooms

He does a better job running the jail than a lot of others, but I personally think he's terribly at calling snow emergencies. There's a lot of times we'll be surrounded by counties on level 3 snow emergencies and we're on a level 1 with terrible road conditions

The editorial board is primarily people above the age of 50, probably older though, who are very conservative and act like they speak for the working class all the time. They never represent the views of the under 30 crowd. Thanks for calling me a moron seems very necessary

I upvoted for the discussion, but wow what a bummer of a read for me personally. They act like

a) it's important to everyone to have free parking at every destination

b) new developments can't just have parking lots. Elimimating the parking minimum doesnt ban parking lots, it just ends a requirement for a certain number of spaces

Lmao. Of course the boomers on the blade editorial board think that what makes toledo desirable is free and "abundunt"(empty) parking lots. One of my least favorite parts of toledo is all the empty surface parking lots

Probably mid to end of june

I work downtown on weekday nights and see yall a lot lol

Reminds me of what day it is

Oh my god yes. During high school (6 years ago now) I tried and failed to play several sports and wanted a varsity jacket so bad because I thought they were so cool. Everyone wore it if you could afford one. I just worked a high school baseball game last night and saw at least 15

I eat there frequently using deals in the app. If it wasn't for those I would not go to mcdonalds

Saying its "mutual" respect is pretty ironic. If there was actually mutual respect, pedestrians wouldn't need to fear for their lives walking because our right of way would just be respected

He saw the truck as it was stopped, saw he had right of way and then proceeded. I'm hustling through there as a pedestrian too because I don't want to get in anyone's way if they're waiting for me. Putting responsibility for this anywhere but the on the driver is victim blaming and quite ridiculous

There's some cool art down in the citiwalk, but I cannot for the life of me find a way into it anymore from the street. Seems like I would need access to one of the buildings it connects to to use it
