Hi all, I've been struggling with burnout on top of other mental health struggles for a while now. I have a hard time finding hobbies or any activities that hold my attention and are enjoyable. I used to enjoy games like planet zoo, 7 days to die, raft, or the sims but I get bored of them after no time at all now. It is possible that i cant play any games right now until i fix my exhaustion but would appreciate any suggestions. Can anyone recommend a low investment game that I can jump into with replayability?
I think it depends on the admissions committee, I got in with an above average GMAT score
You would probably need to demonstrate math abilities as part of your application
That sounds kind of cool actually
Yeah, this resonates with me big time. Hope you can make a full recovery soon
Yup, I know exactly what you mean. I wish I had a solution for you but I'd be doing it if I had one.
Maybe there's another reason I'm exhausted but I really feel like I don't get any rest and I am really stressed out by my dreams
Same, I wake up exhausted every day because I'm so active in my dream life.
Hypervigilance can be associated with a heightened startle response. I definitely have this, (almost) nobody laid a finger on me.
I'm so sorry this evil thing happened to you. You didn't deserve it, but you can survive this <3
I'm glad you're on the path to getting better. It's hard to make the choice regarding work.. I walked away from an extremely stable job last year because I was on the verge of a breakdown.
Ty I'm gonna check it out. How long did it take you to recover?
Thanks for all these great suggestions everyone <3 , I'm researching them now
Get your securities license, get good at sales
Very very true. I think the people who know me best see through it. Glad we all got through today.
<3 I'm sure many of us carry this baggage around in silence
Idk the sadness was borderline traumatizing but it probably depends on the viewer
I'd say just be patient and stick to the plan, it'll take some time but it'll eventually work. I'm 8 pounds down now.
I fed my dog 2x his normal volume of food. Also he decided it was nap time in the middle of a long day and I was forced to carry him after 2 hours of break while he snoozed. I think the lesson is take lots of breaks!
If you're close to your goal weight it might be a good time to try out maintenance and increase your protein intake to maximize the impact of your workout. My TDEE before doing anything is 1550 and I'm your height, so when I workout I estimate I burn 1900-2100 with a mix of running and Weightlifting. I'm eating 120 grams of protein per day to hopefully minimize muscle loss while I'm getting lean. I think my numbers are accurate based on my pace of weight loss.
Hi, whatever the "true " reason is you should just take what they said as the real reason. It won't help to try to speculate on this because they're telling you they aren't a good fit for you. They are professionals who are supposed to provide you with treatment, if they aren't being effective or don't know how to be for your situation then it is right to move on.
Also , i am pretty sure that not it's not because you missed the appointment. It can feel like getting left in the cold but you'll be better off with someone who can be effective and make progress .
