Meanwhile we had Cedric Mullins trip and fall into a 30/30 season.

I would comment on all of our pitchers needing elbow surgery, but 3 guys from the big club out simultaneously is probably MLB average at this point.

Relatedly, why are fans acting like losing John Means is some catastrophic blow? I like him as much as anyone and I feel terrible about his reinjury, but losing him is not a huge blow to the team. They won 100 games without him last year, and the rotation is far better this year with Burnes as a true superstar ace and Bradish/Rodriguez having developed and established themselves.

Yeah. Ralph Maltby is a long time club designer/builder and for a long time sold components for people to build their own, but you can order everything and they'll assemble it custom to the specs you send them. I bought 4-G plus 54 and 60, added 1/2", added custom ferrules and grips, and came out at like $700 or so. They're better looking and hit better than my Cobra F9.

Sox had one of the best broadcasters in the world in Benetti and pissed him off so bad he walked. Then they replaced him with the play by play version of Cash Me Outside Girl.

Anything made by Maltby.

The game is in Oakland, but that seat is in San Jose.

The bar is just a place to rest your telescope, because you'll need one to see the game.

Upset. Talking heads (and then fans) will call any time a lower ranked team wins an upset. It could be #15 winning a home game against #14 and the guys at the desk would sell it as some instant classic upset.

I had to double check to make sure I wasn't in r/fuckyouinparticular to be sure I wasn't about to see a death.

Hi I'm Jason, and this is Jackass!

London Fletcher wasn't even drafted, and he's 2nd all time in tackles and never missed a game his entire career.

There have been a number of guys during my lifetime (steroid era wild stats) who went into the all star break near or above 100 RBI but couldn't sustain the pace through the 2nd half.

IMO his consecutive innings streak may be even more impressive. He played about 5.5 years without ever coming out of a game. He never came out for a pinch runner, to take an early day in a blowout, nothing. Started and finished every game.

So, save your breath, I will not hear

I think I made it very clear

You couldn't hate enough to love

Is that supposed to be enough?

I only wish you weren't my friend

Then I could hurt you in the end

I never claimed to be a saint

Ooh, my own was banished long ago

It took the death of hope to let you go

Well I started at a really tough small private liberal arts college, but then I fucked around and found out about what happens when you don't go to class. Then I went to a public school not the main campus with lower admission standards than my kid's daycare. Not a chance in hell I could get into the first one again, but absolutely the second one.

My dog. He's 13 and had a golf ball sized tumor removed. Within a week he was back chasing rabbits and trying to rip my shoulder out on walks.

Can confirm. I have a Collie and an English Pointer. The Collie is easy because fur falls off on softball sized clumps. The Pointer leaves billions of short hairs everywhere.

My dog was sleeping on a chair curled up in a tight ball. He farted directly into his nose, woke up because of the sound and smell, and fell off the chair. I laughed for like 10 solid minutes.

I can confirm that I laugh even when my own kid wipes out, as long as she's not actually hurt.

For Penn State I'm feeling great with Drew Allar. His talent is off the charts and he's coming in with a full season as a starter under his belt. Obviously lots can happen but it would not be stunning for him to be an All-American candidate.

For Maryland, I'm assuming it's Billy Edwards. I have absolutely no idea what to expect. He's a strong kid and has shown good athleticism as a ball carrier in the past, but has never shown much of anything with his arm during his limited chances.

I can guarantee you that Bess hits absolute bombs.

Well it seems like the swamp is draining some the past couple days. Not sure it's the way Trump had hoped, though.
