So he's not injury prone? Ok.
Eze is an incredible player and was among the league's best last season, good managers like Ange can make it work where Eze, Maddison, and Son all play and fit into the same team. The idea that Eze barely, if at all improves Spurs' 11 is ridiculous.

An argument can be made that Maddison is injury prone, Eze however two relevant injuries over the course of four years is not injury prone.
Did you read somewhere that he's injury prone and decide to go with it? Eze being injury prone is a huge myth that spread for no reason.
Eze's the better player but since he's more expensive, they are probably higher on Doue
It's still frustrating that Levy forced Jose Mourinho to use this overweight clown. The guy was more interested in fast food shops than football pitches.
Meh, not very impressive, some good signing in there though. VDV, Maddison, and Vicario the obvious stand outs
We have to start adding copyright to football tactics.
Arteta is going to line up with four CBs and two DMs again next season? What's happened to the beautiful game
People have already turned off on Melo? That's another brother buried by Triple H then.
How am I meant to reply to someone that doesn't even watch football?
I'm fairly rating Bissouma and I'm being realistic with Gray.
Bissouma is far from perfect but he's starting to get the Hojbjerg treatment where everything bad he does is magnified and everything good he does is starting to be ignored.
The reality is Bissouma, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Sarr, and Skipp all played the 6 role at some point last season and to his credit Bissouma was by far the best option, in build up and defensively. None of those players are bad footballers, but the role is extremely hard and required a certain skillset.
I didn't say he's going to sit on the bench all season? I literally said he's going to take Sarr's spot. Being grounded with my expectations on the kid doesn't mean I think he can't play lol
I've been watching Tottenham a lot longer than you bud
Bissouma is asked to do one of the toughest jobs in the league, playing as a 6 in Ange's system is incredibly hard. Pretending some 18 year old who has never played top flight football, nevermind rarely ever played as DM is going to walk in and excel is ridiculously silly.
Gray will get minutes as a 6 sparingly, most of his minutes will be in the box to box role. Bissouma will probably have already left the club by the time Gray is ready to take the role himself.
I don't know why you guys love Sarr so much, he's such an average footballer. Hojbjerg is the best at the club in the 8 role but Ange doesn't like him so Bentancur is the next best. Gray can be a huge upgrade on Sarr.
Bissouma is definitely better than Gray. Sarr is the one that should be worried I wouldn’t be surprised if Gray takes his spot very early into the season
Yeah, it's ridiculous. I'm not surprised though, toxic positivity runs rampant on this sub. You'll be made to look like a villain if you don't agree with absolutely everything the club is doing in the market.
Very much agree. Gray is a good signing but signings like Gray are only good if the club also signs players that are ready to take someone's spot in the starting 11 immediately.
Have Saudi scaled back their spending or haven't I been paying attention? Feels like it's been a while since there's been any concrete Saudi transfer news
100%. Always have to remember that competition breeds excellence, if the first team is at a high level it will influence and motivate the younger players to become even better.
City for example whenever they throw in a youngster from the academy Rico Lewis, Oscar Bobb they don't look out of place despite playing for the best team in the country.
£10m for Hojbjerg is the biggest steal on the market, but at least he can go to any club he wants and I'm sure he will actually be appreciated at his next club.
We have a new generation of supporters who seem to think clubs should be ultra-liberal virtue machines juxtaposed with a set of fans who berate the club for charging money for anything and not spending more than every other club.
Complaining about the most expensive tickets in the country with no success and the club falling behind the other top clubs in spending is exclusive to new gen fans 😂😂. You're such a doughnut
Professional athletes when told to run a lot normally they can do it, not much to learn from this. We should start posting stats that are actually relevant to his talent and football ability
Arsenal's best player has been chucked out to LB by England 😂😂😂
Imagine South Korea telling Son to go play in defence, would never happen.
I don't know if you're trolling, but yes it's true you need a good blend of youth and senior players. Players like Gray and Doue are great signings for the squad but you also need to make sure you're improving the starting 11 every year.
Agree. I do find it interesting how a narrative like Eze being injury prone can be dispelled in less than a couple minutes yet the narrative is still alive. Doing a bit of analysis/research for yourself can go a long way on here.
