walk out and announce with a heavy heart that due to high operating costs and low consumer demand the restaurant is closing permanently and the premises must be left within 2 minutes by all employees so you can lock up. keep fingers crossed behind back

just look them dead in the eye and say oh no, i'm not qualified to be an electrician.

which is very true.

that is a very limited frequency range and a casual perusal of the FPV drone sites shows their control and video links dont operate at that frequency. i dunno, this seems all hype

i am sure there are some 900MHz systems out there, but there should be complimentary 400mhz systems you could swap out but those would be older lower data rate systems

granted i have never been a FAE for semiconductors but i work with them quite a bit and i don't recall any of them traveling. also they tend to be specialists in electrical engineering not mechanical engineering.

i would first suggest finding the huge missing knob.

then yes, go to the knob store and buy a knob.

I concur. I actually have a house old enough to be...well its fucking old. anyways it had phone lines to everyone room when i moved in. i would take a cat 5e cable to the line then pull it through the basement and just replace the faceplate with an ethernet plate. very easy way to go from old to sexy sexy wired ethernet. put a patch panel under the stairs in the basement, a switch, the gig internet modem then put in a linux box with plex and a cloud there to. at some point i need to just throw a small rack in there but for now its more homebrew

i agree with a comment made by /u/1wiseguy maany years ago

To be clear, "PE" or "licensed professional engineer" are titles allowed (in the US) only with a PE license.

"Engineer" generally means one with an engineering degree from a university, but it can pretty much be used by anybody to mean anything. It's not uncommon for an engineering student or co-op or intern to call himself an engineer.

given engineer literally appears in your title go for it. just don't go and try and stamp any plans

bands named am and fm? thats a new one for me. i mean i know bands named S,C,L, i know bands named 17, 41, but i ain't never heard a band named AM. look forward to you showing me the "AM" band. i mean if i were to be kind i would give you the benefit of the doubt to say AM can only work in this tiny ass band, but shit, i have seen AM used in the GHz region so i guess i gotta assume you are a dumbass. its almost like you cant differentiate between modulation and frequency. whats worse is you trying to call it a band name. dude...no. esp with the point of this article which is AM radios...not AM frequency radios
