A wonderful post. Immensely proud of the challenges you’ve overcome.

The entitlement dripping from the organizer’s statement is appalling. About time these morons got the boot. The irony of occupying a public space to protest occupation is not something you can make up. lol “you can enter if you don’t disagree with our cause.” The law says otherwise!

Walk the whole length of Cedarvale, then get on the subway at St. Clair West’s sneaky north entrance and ride to Union and then have a martini at Library Bar in the Royal York and then walk to the Distillery District and eat Spanish tapas at the bib gourmand Michelin recommended Spanish restaurant.

Love him or hate him, he is not wrong. Every bullet in that condensed summary is accurate.

Hurray! Certainly won’t change anyone’s mind protesting this way. The hyperbole of the spokesperson for the protestors is proof enough that it’s time for this group to be shown the door.

Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own

The drug induced suicide, for the kind of upbeat pop they made, is a pretty big turn off.

It’s the coercive actions of the movement. I’m pro LGBT+ but I’m appalled that it’s turned from a movement celebrating inclusion to an angry mob that is unable to respect that other people maybe aren’t there yet. Also, it’s only ever been an internet thing. We have an all gender washroom at work that literally zero people use because the internet.

It’s absolute trash. Worst Pizza chain I know of. It’s not even a guilty pleasure! Wooden cardboard crusts, bland cheese, just crap.

Singapore has a gondola to Sentosa and it’s a tourist attraction. No idea why Toronto doesn’t better capitalize on its beauty. It would be fun in winter too, a sheltered ride across the harbour. But watch out for those Porter flights!!

Nah, row one is the worst seat in Business Class. Any of the others are better.

Drama Teacher vs Pitchfork Wielding Hillbilly vs Champagne Socialist. Hard to make up your mind for anyone

They all massively suck. Worst roster that I can remember in my lifetime. The drama teacher that torched the country, the champagne socialist that fumbled a crucial minority influence, and a pitchfork wielding hillbilly that supports the trucker morons that laid siege to Parliament. The hillbilly will be terrible for Canada but the drama teacher has to go and the champagne socialist doesn’t have the chops to lead. The drama teacher will go down with the ship, hopefully we get a Conservative minority and the next Liberal leader doesn’t specialize in both literally and figuratively teaching a country how to fall down a flight of stairs.

Without signal priority it’s never going to be as good as it should be

Yup - St. Clair West buses were a disaster (thank God they’re gone) and Spadina is going to be x10.

But even when the streetcars are back I can’t understand why they don’t give streetcars, at least the ones separated from traffic, signal priority. They shouldn’t ever be stuck at a red light - only stops where people are boarding/ alighting.

In my experience it’s the bus drivers that need a reminder that their passengers are people too and deserve to be treated with respect.

Hello BlogTO employee - please don’t be surprised if everyone hates you

Toronto Life’s ok, it’s written by real people and has some really excellent investigative journalism. But yeah, Narcity and BlogTo are trash.

Not from me. They’re on the side of peace. Taking a side when you have U2’s experience with advocacy means taking responsibility for a solution. Most people have no clue what the solution is.
