Marbling is the fat in the muscle, you just have poorly cut fatty steaks that you absolutely nuked but didn’t crust up at all. That means you need: a much hotter cooking surface, the the steak come to room temp and salt before hand to remove moisture, get better steaks and a much nicer steak next time. Hopefully cooked no more than medium but shoot for medium rare

You shared way too much info there. But I agree with your manager, you need to be there to relieve people at the time you are scheduled. Don’t pick up extra and expect to come in late unless you work it out with your manager before hand.
I feel bad for not buying these steaks now. I could have given a review after I cooked them a few different ways
