So some people here found lord of the rings, Shawshank Redemption, Godfather, Oppenheimer, Inception, Swades as boring. I’m sorry and I say this with all the sympathy I can muster but these movies weren’t boring it’s just that you have a bad taste and honestly you can hate or downvote me for that but it is what it is. And honestly it’s not your fault if mediocre movies like RRR and KGF can be blockbusters in India then expecting anything else is really the fault of the expectant🀷🀷

Oo no I agree with current conditions it’s not like he is using the sword for killing anybody. I’m talking about ancient Jain Rajputs especially during the medieval and early modern period when Rajputana culture allowed wars but Jain tenants spoke against violence in any form…

Not extremely maybe a 4/5 religious but I feel religion still holds relevance in today's world.

See the thing is one cannot deny our concept of morality has some basis in religion. Now one can say I don't believe in any religion does that mean I'm not moral? No that's not what I said. Our moral framework is based on a societal description of morality. You may be an atheist yes but the society which has ingrained a certain definition of morality or the concept of good and bad isn't atheist as a whole. Just imagine how the earliest humans conditions were. It was kill to survive kind of society. Then how did we go from that violent condition to this modern somewhat peaceful society. How do you explain to a man in those primary stages that it's not right to kill. The best option is the belief in an higher power that judges you for your actions (not saying if that idea is right but it is mighty efficient tbh). Now this concept of higher power and the resulting concepts of right and wrong over thousands of years gets ingrained in out minds begining from our parents when we are children then from the society which has set a moral standard that killing a person is bad based on an ancient belief in a higher power. Through time it becomes irrelevant if there is a higher power but the ideas of morality which were based on the concept of higher power remains.

Now you might say I don't kill a person because it is illegal to kill a person. If Indian government today says that killing is not illegal for a day I still think any general person won't go around killing people just for fun maybe in self defence yes but definitely not for fun. Exceptions are there surely. The idea of right and wrong is strangely ingrained in us over the thousands of years of evolution. There are hundred who shout around I will kill him and her everyday. Give them a gun and tell them you won't be implicated still pulling the trigger won't be as easy as it seems whatever we might say.

Now what happens if today religions from all over the world suddenly disappears. For a few years say 100-200 years there is not much change because the base that religions have created over thousands of years can't dissappear in one day. But slowly those old ideas over time gets hijacked by newer ideas and theories of morality. Will that new morality framework be correct it's tough to know but why risk destroying a tried and tested moral framework that has emerged over thousands of years with a hope it might be better with some new framework when in reality there are good chances things can go awry real fast. It took Hitler 5-10 years to convince Germans that killing Jews was necessary. How long do you think will it take another similar person to convince a group that genocide of another group is necessary when the pre-existing framework of morality that had been created by religion has been eroded?

Having said that I also believe no religion is perfect and each needs a renaissance from time to time to keep up with the changing societal standards. But need for updating something doesn't mean removing it totally when we don't even have a proper replacement for it.

As for atheism and secularism I feel every person has the right to believe or not believe what he wants as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's belief system and doesn't hamper the basic sense of morality on the societal front.

But all of this is my view and is open to scrutiny and disagreement.

Do update me after a few months on its status if you remember ofcourse ☺️☺️

Ohh then I will wait for a few more months for the festival seasons I guess. No point in risking it's a big investment for me...

I have just one word to say and it starts with a "b" and end with an "'s" and it's something I love

Recommendation on LOQ 9th gen Ryzen 7 8845HS with RTX 4060 (customized)

Well I'm planning to buy a LOQ 9th gen with Ryzen 7 8845hs, RTX 4060, 16gb ram. Recently there has been widespread issues regarding LOQ motherboard dying. Is it limited to Intel models or does the problem exist in ryzen 7 8845hs as well? I am highly confused due to the motherboard issue that is spreading now a days.

At similar price range it's with ryzen 7 78400hs 16gb 1tb ssd and rtx 4060. The thing is about 78400hs vs 13650hx? Which one is more preferable? And I'm also getting a student discount and a coupon code discount from lenovo

Legion 5 with 4060 is coming with ryzen 7 8845hs 16gb ram 512gb ssd at almost 20k more than the loq so I was avoiding it
