I am needing some advice as to how to proceed with a situation at work:

I started working in this company first in the corporate environment. Every year me and my supervisor did a yearly evaluation of my performance. I think it’s good cause it did help me see what I can improve on, the environment is professional and they appreciate me as an employee. And so I am also happy to keep doing my job better with that yearly feedback.

The way we collect this feedback is by providing names of people you worked and each person submits a evaluation for you with some questions. After that you and your supervisor sit down and review the final document.

I recently changed to a different area where management is a bit different, I guess it’s the non corporate environment and how the evaluation there is done by me only submitting three bullet points of my contributions thru the year. This is where I need advice, you see the way it’s supposed to be done is by getting feedback from other people, the new way my new supervisor is doing only gives them their own perspective on what they think your contributions are. so the supervisor only evaluates you with their own viewpoint. I know the people I had in mind to suggest will vouch for me and they really like me and we do good work. How should I approach my supervisor into asking him to do this evaluation the way he is supposed to be doing this? Obviously doing it their way leaves a lot of room for bias and it wouldn’t even be close to my full performance on the official record. Honestly this is important because based on how well you do you get a raise and bonus.
