This is what I would do in the future. This last time I bought huge plastic bins and screwed the mounts to the bin with a piece of wood on the inside, or outside depending. 8 mounts total.

Nice I hunted central Texas most of the season. Season was hit or miss if birds would show. Went to Washington and hunted sea ducks. Grabbed a limit on 2 of the 3 days
