They are beautifully painted.
A tip I got was to mask and then spray a layer of varnish to seal it, the spray the colour.
The thumbnail on mobile made me think these were new Chaos units, I saw claws and spikey bits.
If no one is going to touch or move it then microscope slides are pretty useful. It's real glass and can be very thin. They're also really cheap and you get a nice amount in an order.
My body does that already but it smells nasty.
If you report empty box sellers who don't label it clearly enough you can get them banned from eBay. A few times on this sub we've mass reported scummy people and their accounts have been terminated. It works.
That was my feeling with Heresy era games, it's only different coloured space marines.
Depends if Sir dressed to the left or the right this morning.
Kroot have kinda got you covered. Some very cool models just released for them too.
Thank you! I'll check it out. The figures are what I'm most interested in so anything that can give me decent detail at that scale.
I like to make miniature dioramas and I also enjoy 3D sculpting and would love to be able to cross the two over with a 3D printer.
Could someone recommend a printer that is suitable for printing high detail figures from my 3D sculpts at OO gauge and smaller? My budget isn't big (maybe up to $400) but I'd like to know what's out there that is suitable, high and low end for a hobbyist. I live in Japan if that's any help.
Many thanks.
I literally just came to this sub Reddit for the first time just now because I wanted to check out some miniature painted figures and this was the first thing that came up! Serendipity!
Do you know any good tutorials, guide or books for painting small miniatures like this?
Most of the people who worked on the Arkham games left before or during this games development. Its just a soulless studio for WB now. I wouldn't hold out hope that they'll make anything good again. Find out what indie studios the old staff founded and support them instead.
The people with money will also take part and be able to buy more tickets giving them a higher probability of winning too.
You've tried more free hand than me. What sort of brushes did you use?
My advice would be to watch some videos of people painting minis, it doesn't need to be GW figures, it's all transferable regardless of the miniature.
My favourite are those that show you their palette and them dipping their brush in the paint/water so you can see just how much they do. I just tried to copy that as closely as I could and it really helped with practice.
This is the most specific advert I think I've ever got.
I experienced exactly the same manipulative bs. I worked at a supermarket, a big chain fast food restaurant and cleaning at a caravan holiday park, all zero hours and all full of this kinda shit.
Why is the Nintendo E-Shop on the Switch so awkward and slow to scroll through???
And there's so much crap on there now, what happened to the "Nintendo seal of quality"?
In other news, old man yells at cloud.
I reinstalled UT2004 last year and it felt like a breath of fresh air.
I could just leap around shooting stuff with fun weapons, get killed and respawn quickly back into the fray.
"As part of these proposed changes your role has been identified as being potentially at risk of redundancy," the email told staff.
Zero hour allows management (who are unaffected by this) to use it as leverage over their staff.
I've worked 0 hour contracts at a few places and I remember the manager was psychotic enough to find out when people were desperate for money and then reduced that employees hours just to fuck with them.
Zero hour just let's these people shit on the workforce even more, and they can't do anything but accept it.
That was one of my major frustrations with Boltgun, just because it's emulating the past doesn't mean it should excuse poor design choices. Its trying to be more like Doom 2016 than Doom, the fast gameplay of 2016 had really well designed levels. Calling your design retro doesn't excuse bad design. If the player is getting lost then the designers should have done more.
I also hated how dark it was and the red mist as well as the total lack of enemy movement sounds making it difficult to know when anything is near.
What does everyone think of boltgun?
