Hello helpers.

A couple days ago, our ac stopped cooling. The fan was still blowing air, but it was that warm Texas air instead. We noticed that the outside unit was not turning on at all. We called a repair service, the next day they came and after looking it over, they determined it needed a new capacitor. They changed it out right there, and it immediately started up. Job was done just in time, because husband was just about to leave to join us at the hotel (which we had booked just in case).

We checked out this morning and come home, only to find that the ac is once again not blowing cold air, and deep in the heart of Texas, it’s gonna be a scorcher.

We only know that the ac was working right after he fixed it, and continued to work for up to 30 minutes. After that, no one was in the house until this morning, and the temp is already at 84.

Did the ac guy fix the wrong thing? My husband is stuck on the fact that it DID work when he left, and doesn’t think we should call and ask them to fit us in. He seems incredulous that it could possibly be the same issue as before because it worked for up to 30 minutes. Please help!

sincerely,
