Ha, you're right, I meant adjective. Been a long day.

It would be "they're" if due was an adjective and "their" if due was a noun. Both make sense, both are acceptable.

Reworded, the adjective form would be read "they should not have more importance than the amount of importance that they are due".

In this instance they're going with the noun form. Another way to read it would be "they should not have more importance than their allotted amount of importance"

Is it possible the button is stuck in the pressed position? I had that once.

I track JP cards with PKVintage.

I don't know if it does values though, I wouldn't trust values from any app. They're mostly just taking averages of sold listings but they don't know how to determine fake listings, poor condition or damaged cards, etc.

It implies either there was a time when there could be 2 active pokemons

Yep. Welcome to old pokémon.

Thing is, sticking a tongue out is sort of like giving the middle finger to a kid.

I'll probably get downvoted for saying that, but I'm a teacher, and a big complaint is "missss, so and so stuck their tongue out at me!" A lot of them do it to start trouble or show they don't like someone. It's a cheeky gesture, which is why some kids like it and think it's fun, but you will absolutely also get kids who will think you hate them or are teasing them.

I have stuck my tongue out at kids before who generally seem cheeky or who do it first, but I wouldn't do it at any random child. You have to read the room.

Would be nice, but no, active pokémon also refers to the pokemon taking the attack. It's just that defending pokémon is usually only used in the text of attacks (hence, defending) whereas active pokémon can be on abilities, trainers, etc. as it could refer to things throughout the turn, not just the attack phase.

But basically regardless of active or defending, and effects applied to a pokémon in the active spot by an attack disappear when they move to the bench or leave the area of play unless they specifically say so (which is basically never).

I know Pokémon Sleep isn't really part of the Play! Pokémon tournament system (apart from that one weird April Fool's video) but it would be cool if they added some Alolan pokémon to coincide with the World Championships in Hawaii this next month!

Playing against Seraphimon Ace. Just wanted to check whether it's once per turn "when a card is added to your security stack" effect is optional or mandatory. It doesn't say may or can so I guess mandatory? So we can't choose when to use it?

Don't switch people's drinks...even if it tastes the same, that would definitely give me a chronic headache!

Sounds like you don't drink enough coffee haha

As long as it's decent then yeah, it's great. I can make substitutions, additions and other weird combo orders without confusing the server and having them inevitably forget something, and if there is an issue I have instant proof of what I ordered.

Always grab enemy jungle if you can, it's a great way to keep your level above theirs and slow them down. Just don't be risky.

Why the hell are you taking your bottom lane's birds though? That was unnecessary and just hinders your team.

Eh, native English speaker here too.

I'd usually pronounce it more on-dray, but if I had to pronounce the s I would definitely pronounce it as a z. Like at the end of heroes, members, litres, etc. Would only pronounce it with an s sound if it was spelled Andress.

Sadly it is fake. Lots of issues with that tag.

Often I would say "it's the thought that counts" but given your niece is in the ICU it's probably not worth giving it to her. Bootleg don't go through quality and safety checks and, although it's rare, they can have chemicals on them, needles attached and debris inside. Just not worth it if she's already vulnerable.

Shame. Shops near me pretty much only sell sections. They're great.

I think you're overthinking this. I kind of feel like a mother to all the kids I look after, particularly with the younger needy ones. I obviously won't replace any parents and I don't intend to, but it's important to care for the kids we look after. You shouldn't feel bad for caring about those children and having a motherly feeling.

But even if you were her actual mother she would still have to wait occasionally. Part of being a teacher or mother is teaching boundaries and patience.

Sounds like you got overwhelmed which happens. If you feel like you can't cope then you ideally need to excuse yourself rather than breakdown with the children. That's the only thing that really went wrong here though. And having a different coworker who didn't really know the kids blankets and personalities, but that's not really their fault either. Stuff happens.

I didn't realise the shop updated at first and missed out on some good pokémon because I didn't stockpile master biscuits and could only access one when it was important. Never doing that again.

Will slowly be building a little stock of master biscuits and ez travel tickets just in case.

Why are you buying a whole watermelon. Just buy a half or quarter, then you can see the inside anyway.

Use it regularly, also south east.

Shitty bread is pappy bread and it's the worst!

They discontinued them? Damn.

I don't eat chocolate all that much but if I did I'd pick one. Guess I'm never eating Bounties again then.

Nah, this is just how the newer generations have rationalised the older generations mistakes. Not that I blame them, it makes sense that you would try to put rational meaning to what the adults in your life say when you're growing up, even if it's nonsense.

Er, I just put it in a case. Useful if you're taking it anywhere, not just the plane part.

That said, I tried to track on my plane journey recently and was pleasantly surprised to find that it tracked fine. However, it did register as the time in my new country rather than my old country, which was I was hoping it wouldn't, meaning it mucked up my Saturday sleep. But depending on your timing and time zones, it could be fine.

I think I’ll avoid this card, I’m not sure how I could even capture that amount of glossy shine.

I mean, it's a fairly normal photo with a bright light. It doesn't look remotely fake.

If you don't feel confident then of course don't buy yourself, but please don't report sellers because you're not experienced enough buying cards from that era.
