Yep, exact same situation here except a trial roulette to get to 99.

I'm just sad I was presented with an entire enormous zone that I had to waste a ton of MSQ experience on!

But from a narrative POV, I think it was the right move.

I feel like they ran out of time, it very much came out of nowhere.

I also feel like the ending has someone vicariously confronting their daddy issues and trauma through MSQ writing.

That long level 98 cutscene...that was so fun to watch. If it was just all that and solo instances, I'd love this expansion.

Also, if anyone is curious, you can, in fact, get EXP locked before the 99 quest if you do what I did and throw all external sources of exp (fates on the way, hunts, aether quests) on a job that's not your MSQ job, lol. I ended up 4M exp short.

Dang man that's rough. I can't believe you're the main character.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted, but yeah. That insanity came out of nowhere. Great performances all around.

Yeah, every other game where it occurs via audio in the background as you adventure to your next destination.

Visual novels are good if it's something worth watching while doing nothing in your seat.

Can anyone tell me at this point or further if I can skip from 91 to this point without missing anything super important?

I hate that I'm asking, as I have the lore book and have always enjoyed the story, but this is just...difficult.

It's taking everything in me to not skip through everything right now.

Game is auto-routing to LatAm not NA. How do I fix this?

Title. Been trying to log into NA but it just automatically goes to Latin American servers.

**EDIT** - My game was bugged and had to relaunch it. I didn't even get a server select at login the first time I launched.

Dude, it was my turn to post this today. Wtf.

Parties fill so slow this season that I am guilty of this for a couple of minutes sometimes as I alt+tab to get some work done.

I need to get a weakaura that makes a noise when certain party size thresholds are met (Like "LIGHT PARTY/FULL PARTY" in FFXIV).

This is totally reasonable. In fact, I'll argue that the average skill of the endgame playerbase being "problematic" is LARGELY because people really just don't get any reasonable practice with their fleshed out kits.

Think of the tens or even hundreds of hours of roulettes people do each expansion with gutted kits that are effectively useless in terms of knowledge carryover.

Agreed. The nerf made me sad because I understood the implication for future story content.

He's actually right. PvP was huge.

And then mobas became big and everyone saw the flaw in MMO PvPs and stopped caring about it.

Yes, I genuinely believe this

I don't think it would be GOOD but I still would absolutely love a Vanilla Remix.

I just want to see how funny the OG game becomes with Dragonriding and retail skills/talents.

Honestly, if you're healing those keys fine with the intent to go back to DPS...you might as well just stay, lol.

Keys are way easier to heal in the aspect range because people actually are more likely to do stops, know the fights, and press personals.

And Cata is in less than a week. They really are stepping over their own toes.

Never thought I'd see the day where we have "too much content" though. I suppose it's a good problem to have.

Asmongold is gonna eat good off this.

Could someone smarter than me help me identify when it would be appropriate as a Holy Pally to wear an Icon vs. a Broodkeeper's Promise in a raid environment if I have both?

I'm tempted to not take the icon in my vault due to redundancy and get 2 gems instead, but the trinket seems too good to pass up just in case.

AutomaticJak is probably the best bet here.

Yeah but that only accounts for "sever outages", not "SERVER outages".
