After OT 1 I never had a desire to play it. After figuring out each chapter had the same formula (meet at town > cut scene > search town > cut scene > dungeon > boss) I never finished it. That and the level gating is so crazy and makes you grind sooooo long to progress.

Yeah for the love of all that is holy, I hope they get rid of all the required mini games.

FF16 wasn’t open world. It was like a string of small areas to explore. Like FF10.

I have to say - as an old player raised on turn-based combat, it was refreshing to have that option in the remakes. Granted, it’s like a modern take on it but it’s nice for me. I like just relaxing and taking my time vs. having things cranked up to 11 all the time.

Yeah, I have a vinyl fence. I really don’t want spinning metal anywhere near that.

I had a 1999 Mercury Cougar (the redesign that was supposed to be the ford probe or something) and everyone kept telling me it was a “girl car.”

I feel like he’s more redeemable in Rebirth. He’s just a poor boy who has a lot of walls up, but is a goofball at heart.

Property taxes. Illinois has some of the highest property taxes in the nation. You can easily pay $12,000+ a year on a $350,000 condo.

So that condo may seem cheap, but once you add in taxes and HOA dues it’s higher.

Holy fuck. I mean, I’m not sure if there’s anything to improve.

Or they have a studio apartment and don’t have to cool that much space. I guarantee if these people had a 2600 square foot, two story house that they’d buckle and keep it set in the high 70’s.

Their bills are probably sky high or they have a 600 square foot apartment.

ITT: people who complain about their electric bill but then also keep their thermostat set in the 60’s.

So does your air conditioning just never shut off until October?

They would on paper, but they’re uncool to drive for most people. That’s how the SUV became mainstream — minivans were much more practical but seen as “old”
