If I had that in front of me I think I’d stuff it. I’m thinking caramelized onions, garlic, Gouda, crumbled bacon and smoked over applewood.

Crush washers are designed to allow clocking within a specific torque range. IIRC the torque range of a 1/2” crush is 20-35ft/lbs.

Next time you use a crush washer just snug it then clock it making sure you go at least 1/4 turn.

Kevin at Dick Williams was known as a great revolversmith but he might have retired. I’m not sure what his experience is with chamfering or with ribbed barrels but it might be worth a call.

You don’t.

You cannot register the sale unless it was purchased/gifted as a complete pistol.

Visit Electric Kitsch record shop in Bay City(don’t miss this place), take 13 north towards Pinconning to snag some Williams Cheese, either jump back on i75 north and pick up a howler/growler at one of the dozen+ breweries along 75 or take 33 north.

A stop at the elk park in Gaylord for a picnic or some take out is great. If you take 33 north a stop at Awakon sculpture park in Onaway or a visit to ocqueoc falls is a nice leg stretcher. Cross the Mac then stop at either Manley’s fish market in st Ignace or Gustafson’s on US 2 west for some smoked whitefish. Then find a nice piece of lakeshore, an overlook or a campfire to enjoy some cheese/fish/beer.

A sharp cheese, bitter IPA and some hardwood smoked whitefish sets the tone perfectly for the boreal forest.

I’m not sure, I’ve always made hydromels, fermented dry and back sweetened. Maybe some else will be able to answer that question as I am now curious as well.

You may not get a full ferment depending on your intended ABV. You may need a wine yeast.

Winchester AA 1250fps or faster seems to be the common choice.

Fair point. And I suppose you still get more non-reciprocating mass than you would by lightening the slide.

Those add reciprocating mass making the recoil impulse worse.

The added weight to the muzzle does help, otherwise ports and comps don’t do anything but make them louder unless you’re shooting Major power factor ammunition/calibers.

I doubt it, the shortened sight radius defeats the main purpose of an island barrel.

Absolutely, but I like to call it recoil mitigation.

It’s something that everyone should see once. But that’s about it.

What kind of hunting? Small dot RDSs are good for big game or Turkey but they suck for most small game, upland game and waterfowl.

For small game a reflex sight with a ring/globe allows faster acquisition and the ability to still point shoot.

Breaching rounds are usually slug-shot(encapsulated lead shot) or frangible zinc slugs.

It anchors the muzzle into the barrier and vent the gas so you don’t blow the barrel from the muzzle obstruction.

You might want one because they look cool but that’s it. Without breaching rounds and breacher’s armor you’re just gonna hurt yourself.

Oxpho blue as well as Belgian Blue are phosphoric acid solutions, not Selenium Dioxide. There is a substantial difference in surface penetration and finish.

You’ve never used Oxpho-Blue have you?

There is a DNR shooting range just west of Hastings and another SE of Mason. Neither have steel and at least the one by Mason is staffed. Staffed DNR ranges are full of fuddery and the staff is inexperienced.

It is lawful to target shoot on most state game areas but you’ll need to check on the specific rules for that SGA. Check out r/Miguns. There is a pinned post about shooting on public land.

Strange times indeed. Some contention has merit while most of it is partisan combativeness.

The OP hasn’t even commented on this post, a 4473 isn’t exactly a legal instrument/document and sections A&C is filled out by the transferor and the transferor is required to certify that the information in A,C & E is correct. The transferee only certifies section B.

It can be built into a pistol as long as it was never assembled as a rifle. An FFL’s mistake on a 4473 is irrelevant.

State level democracy > Local level democracy.

What a strange time in American politics…
