I just sniffed the communication to the existing console and built my own device from scratch.

Not at all. Vast majority of people who identify themselves with a religion and are not atheist/agnostic are dispersed along a spectrum ranging from 'hardcore' to 'barely affiliated '.

You're just most familiar with 'hardcore' because they're the most polarizing/entertaining and interject themselves amongst all conversations.

FC Kahuna - Hayling (specifically intro)

All the time. And lots of dry heaving afterwards.

Some are saying it's just their nausea symptom, not from pain itself. I would say for me it's a combination of both, I do get nausea but it's not extreme and the pain certainly puts me over that edge.

But also, fwiw, I definitely find once I vomit I'm usually on the downhill, so after dry heaving finishes and I rehydrate I normally start coming round.

Agree not a great example of 'urban design '

His points on how that one roadway was widened to 4 lanes changed it into a destination street into a high traffic passthrough are very valid though.

wow, 40 times! My first live show was 20 years ago but I think I've only seen them 3 or 4 times live.

Sorta. I know of one in particular that had a profitable/sustainable business at one point without the need for additional funding. Unfortunately they decided that wasn't enough, over-hired and took on too many development projects that didn't generate any additional revenue.

I used to design these types of robots for about 8 years, plus have another fifteen years or so in more general automation.

Technology is long established and has been around awhile. Recent developments have only aided infrastructure free navigation And better engagement with standard pallets etc

This is a good callout, that's the model I had. I'm not sure everyone else's experience running one in the street was the model with the idle circuit.

I rebuilt one of these and ran it on a 302 20+ years ago.

Interesting concept, Venturi 4bbl. Not good on gas. You could probably just stick your fuel hose right in the intake plenum for the same results.

I first saw them live in Cleveland in 2004.

Edit: Jesus, it's been 20 fucking years.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell you. Most likely that was a dealer accessory and there were lots of different flavors using a bunch of different valve bodies using the same handle.

Thanks - I'm probably in the side of the road camp. Bearing surfaces make sense.

At what stage does the room actually need to be "clean" ? Just for short block assembly? I never even made an attempt to have the room clean except for wiping down mating surfaces immediately before assembly. But usual I picked up an assembled short block.

By what mechanism are they supposed to work? Clearing oil passages to allow higher volume of oil flow? That's the only one I can think of.

I like using Lucas's oil stabilizer to quiet lifter noise, etc, but other than that I don't get these snake oil products.

Awesome! Thank you for the link.

Thanks for confirming, and yes that last line was a typo.

Agree I should get a two stage thermostat, but it's summer right now so I can try this one in the meantime because I already have it. Thanks for the help.

So I bought a home with a Nest thermostat and I really, really, really hate it. I happened to find the old thermostat in a cabinet so wanted to switch it back.

Trouble is the new thermostat is 5-wire and current wiring has 6 wires. Previous owners put in a whole new HVAC system in 2021 (AC and furnace), so I suspect that's when they added the Nest thermostat and when the extra wire came in.

I've read online that W2 is for a second stage heater, which is weird given it's a conventional forced air gas furnace. I'm guessing since the old thermostat does not have a W2, I should take both white and brown to W, that way both stages kick on. Does that sound right?

I'm thinking:\ G - Green (Fan)\ RC jumpered to RH - Red (24V)\ Y - Yellow (AC)\ W - White (1st stage heat) and Brown (2nd stage heat)\ Not Connected - Blue (Common)

Is that right? white and brown double up on W, a jumper RC to RH, and blue not connected?

Where to recycle old gasoline?

I've got old gasoline I need to get rid of and am curious where I can dump it. Any suggestions?

Also, if you want to come get it it's all yours.
