The pain that comes with ovarian cysts. Truly feels like you are getting stabbed in the gut and the knife is being twisted.

I have done a portion of the trail and rarely had issues while there. I used my street smarts and kept with others. The only time I was weirded out by someone there was another guy hiking nearby that I had met in town with a bunch of other hikers and had a meal with, I expressed my concern and he hiked in front of me, ensuring that there would be distance put between me and the guy in front of us. Really appreciated it! Otherwise you run into so many people and there will be so many people you start to recognize/become friendly with.

what part of western NY? Buffalo area or further south/closer to NYC?

As others have said, legal abortion, legal tube tying, free period products/remove the pink tax, free pre and post natal care. I hear about how well european and asian countries treat moms, ie the box that you get sent home with that doubles as a crib and has a bunch of supplies in it, or how in asian countries you have a "sitting month." If they are going to push so hard against abortion, they need to fix the childcare issue, foster care system, education system and other support systems for once the child is born. Also support sex ed for once and for all??

But overall, just not let men dictate what should be done with women's bodies (especially if we cant dictate what happens to theirs!)

Crisloid. I have my grandfather's boards from the 40s and 50's. Worn but I love them. I (somewhat mistakenly) got them refurbished when i lived in RI. The cork they now use has the pips laminated onto it rather than painted, so it is verrry slippery for quite some time but is now lessening. If there isn't sentimental value to the wear, I would recommend it overall! (Also, if you get it refurbished, get dice with rounded corners to prevent excess wear)

What kind of paint? I’d highly encourage her to try again since you asked her to do it. She needs to figure out a clearer design and use the proper paints.

Honestly I vote the raven idea.

I see no collar and if he’s an outdoor kitty that’s not fair to him!

Oh yay! I was also thinking, I’ve done something like this in the past, and have played around the idea of creating an easy/medium/hard list, depending on how much energy I have to expend. So I want to do an activity from my list that requires a lot of energy? Great I can do x, y or z. Not a lot of energy? I can do A, b or c. Etc etc. I hope that makes some sense!

That cat owns you now. You must bring it into your own home and be its butler. Welcome to the powers of the CDS. You have been claimed.

I’m so sorry to hear about what happened and I’m glad to hear you have been working on healing. Maybe on those nostalgic days find a new tradition to cement. Whether it be crafting, reading a cozy book, trying a new recipes from one or several cookbooks. Finding a tradition to make those grey nostalgic days have a new meaning might help. It won’t ever get rid of the younger-you’s meaning of those days but it might help add to the new chapter you’re in now? Yay you for doing the work!

I love this dress on you! You look great in it and it shows your back off nicely. Get it tailored just a bit and grab a pashmina (either similar blue or cream colored) if you are worried about being cold post during the reception (or more casual since that seems like it might be the vibe?) cowboy boots would be so fun (and comfy) too!

When I graduated, I was in a similar circumstance. Senior year of college kicked. My. Ass. I was suuuuper depressed particularly senior spring, and didn’t have the wherewithal to get through one last credit that I needed for my minor. I managed to graduate with enough credits because I have two 1/2 credits for a summer program I did at a college in high school that I got transferred in. Literally the only reason I graduated on time and didn’t need to do another semester.

In terms of the master’s program, I can’t speak to that, but you graduated and you got through it and that’s the important part.

(Maybe you could retake it as a summer class if you haven’t yet applied to graduation? Not quite sure how that would work… that would be a conversation with the department head or registrar department)

Brooklyn’s Finest Pizza on Broadway? I don’t think I ever saw it open….

Suggestions for Underquilt and tarp? (ideally with SBSW)Gear

Hi all! It is Small Business Sales Week! I am hoping to take advantage of this, and am wondering if anyone has a recommendation of an underquilt and a tarp.

My the main pieces of my current set up include:

  • 11' Eldorado hammock (Warbonnet)

  • a sleeping pad (tensor, though thinking of finding a 3/4 length one.)

  • 15ºF Enigma from EE

Any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks!

I’m so partial to Rosa. Simple, classic and beautiful. (And symbolic as you’re coming into the authentic you!)
