Demonstrates how useless this question is
Do they? The new season starts and you got some different guys on your team. Why do you need to know the specifics?
Fans don’t need to give a shit about cap space and asset management to watch basketball
I’ve heard that while the rest of the team was eating dinner Joe Mazulla pulled out a bag of twelve apples and said “apple time, apple time” which he then ate with a knife and a fork
I see them getting two picks as loading up on assets which can be used for a trade down the line. Not specifically this year, but they could use them this year.
Keeping the 8th pick means bringing on a guy who probably needs development time. If they’re tanking that’s not a problem, but they opted for more liquidity in their assets.
Realistically I don’t seem them contending for the playoffs this year as much as the year after but I think they will try to be better this year.
I feel like you have enough good young guys that you don’t really have to rely on the luck of the draft anymore and can just build around your core
Bringing in a vet and trading a young guy for future assets both seem compatible with trying to make a jump in level to me
You Serbia will lend them Jokic?
They’ve also got reigning DPOY Rudy Gobert
Kind of surprised The Spurs passed on this guy. Guess we’ll see.
Ja Morant to the Detroit Pistols
I don’t think his wife really has any trouble finding work
And his wife is also wealthy, they’re not hurting
Never really understand what fans are talking about when they ask for accountability. They want an apology tour that he didn't block that Dame shot or something?
Literally everyone gets turned on
Pause
What does lady gaga know about cameras
Come on lebron put your mavericks jersey on
the outlier advanced stats those two guys produce on their own could collide into something funny
He played in the FIBA World Cup last year so he’s already got the international experience from that. The Olympics are more prestigious but they’re not really that different. With it being his rookie year, it makes sense to me that his focus is on his new team.
Don’t bother, most of the nephews on this site are probably teenagers who weren’t even alive during the hippodrome riots, back when the game was played with more physicality (and on horses).
I mean you’re talking to a crowd that has such recency bias they probably rank recent players like Kareem Abdul Jabbar above Gaius Appuleius Diocles
Great echo in that court
It’s true that he’s never had tons of heart but I think his recent issues are more due to the mental funk he was in after his dad died
Could they put another player out too?
