I’ve been thinking about Fraley’s high avg but horribly low wRC+ and I’d be interested to see what Jake can do batting 3rd. His low K% and high avg combined with Elly’s speed and India’s proclivity for doubles seems like a good match. Candy swings at too much which limits Elly’s ability to steal.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a trade article about the Reds that has ever made a damn bit of sense. Way too many of these sports writers only look at one side of the trade and fail to consider the other side. Who are we going to trade for and would that team care about anyone we have? Then fans read those articles and think the writer is an expert and they parrot their words as gospel.
When it comes to trades, please approach these OP-Ed’s with the upmost skepticism.
