Disney has started doing this for a few rides that they can accommodate, specifically Slinky dog dash. My 4 yr old is terrified of roller coasters. He screamed the entire time thinking he was going to be forced to ride.

I'd rather wait outside and look at the shops or do something else.

Both suck compared to Busch Gardens in Tampa. They just give you a return time to go through the quick queue lane twice for your entire party.

Yeah, but isn't that the one that had the hostage situation that ended in the gunman shooting himself? It always feels creepy in there.

I miss the river of light show. I thought it was super cool and the tree of life show.

I loved AK after dark.

Paper fast passes were superior. Except in rare situations, they didn't care about return times, you had the entire day to go back and ride that 9am Living with the Land. We gamed the system and ran all around the park snagging them up. The ultimate way to stack.

I could never figure out FP+, I am sure I was doing it wrong. We never stayed on site so we never got the good stuff, and I didn't need to watch Muppets every time I was at HS as an AP. And if we got a good one it was always at 9pm so we couldn't get more than 3 anyway. Most of the time we didn't bother.

Totally watch Defunctland's video on The complicated history of the Fast Pass on YouTube. It is so good.

Personally I liked the original paper fast passes. Free and everyone got an equal chance to ride the best rides. Sure everyone ran to those rides first, but overall as long as you went there first you were guaranteed a ride.

I don't know who this is, but I got sucked into DAS TikTok.

I have learned a few things... 3 out of 4 in my family qualified for the old program. We obviously didn't apply, I didn't know it even existed. That being said, I think there is a lot of abuse and it needed an overhaul.

We are very familiar with the old rider switch/return to line program. For our needs it worked well. I understand if you had the DAS it feels like a smack to the face, but in all honest it works just fine. I have seen so many crazy complaints. That even as an able bodies individuals can't do. "I won't be able to do all 4 parks in 4 days, we will have to extend our trip to 5 days"..........Yeah, me either. I can't do that.

I understand that this is a highly charged topic, and I'm sure I will be down voted. But I am over all of the complaints from everyone. Be mad at the abusers that exploited the system as a TikTok hack.

We went today and when I saw living with the land had a 30 minute wait, we played at Moana, got our AP magnets and left. Forgot the festival was ending, that makes sense.

Interesting trip considering she said she hated the beach at Jax Beach.

Agree with this. I have fond memories of walking to EPCOT to get breakfast in France and walking back with pastries and other goodies.

Maybe this will be one of many?

Yeah, I wonder if he was given a severance package and maybe they aren't worried yet. I don't know if they have ever mentioned what he does. Do I recall her saying he worked as a baseball referee? Was that just a side job?

How was the floating stage part? We have that row at one of the shows I'm going. I am curious about the view of that.

I don't know if Justin went, he was likely busy with sound check and preparing. But, Jessica was at the Vancouver Zoo one of the days he was in Vancouver. She met Jessica Seal. 😂 One of the rescued seals. She has some Instagram posts.

100%

I can normally look past it, but the entitlement of using the pool really got me.

Does they or her family have DVC? Resort pool hopping USED to be a thing, and they did go to Bay lake tower (https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/discounts-perks-offers/recreation-relaxation/pools - currently suspended).

I have noticed she only pool hops at DVC hotels, so made me wonder maybe she is assuming she can still do it.

Omg, I normally don't mind her going to resorts to explore, we do it too. For the most part value and moderate moderate hotels don't mind if you tell them you are getting something to eat. But most of the time we just park other places because I don't want to take up parking.

But monorail resort? pools?! And Parking? Without even a dining reservation?!

We are passholders so we can go whenever we want. We went yesterday and as we were leaving at 5pm having done all we wanted to. We noted that it is a good relaxing park. There are many rides, but many opportunities to take it slower.

Back in early 2000s we went it seemed like every ride would break down. I don't remember any details of how long we waited but these are the ones I remember being walked off.

-Ellen's energy Adventure - This happened multiple times. Walked off twice in the dinosaur room.

-Test Track - stopped at the semi truck and was eventually walked off. That was loud and annoying.

-Space Mountain - it is truly my most memorable walk off. The lights came on and we were at the bottom of the hill. Seeing space mountain with the lights on is one thing, walking next to the track is another level.

Absolutely nothin' to promote it. I know he has said once it is released it is up to the fans. But come on JT, I would have loved to see him talk more about the album. He is so passionate about the little details, I would love to have him point out all the Easter eggs and small details.

Vanilla Twilight.

My husband was deployed when Ocean Eyes came out. Played this song on repeat. Still can't listen to it without turning into a ball of tears.

My family went in the early 2000s and we tried to ride it 4 times. It broke every time and we were walked off. One time we stopped near the Brachiosaurus just chewing leaves for a long time. The long benches made for a good napping spot as a child. I honestly never saw the ending until my husband and I went in it 15 years later.

.

"Gated" community had a felon renting a house. SWAT team showed up to arrest him for a shooting a few weeks back. People were upset because: 1. HOA should require background checks to people renting 2. They are realizing that living in a gated community is just an illusion of safety.

The way Disney does Child Swaps.

On some rides they have now started keeping parties together and doing the switch at the end. My child is terrified of the ride, I don't care if it saves time. I'm sure the others on slinky dog dash queue did not appreciate my child screams while we were trying to convince him he WAS going to be able to NOT ride. That same trip we opted not to do Tower of Terror because they said "you can all go together" oh hell no. No nightmares for my youngest.

The other way is terrible as well, I spent half the day separated from my family because I stand in line to ride with my oldest and then turn around and wait for my husband to ride using the LL.

I like the way Busch Gardens Tampa Bay does it, you get a return time and go through the quick queue lane once your time is ready. It means I can stay with my family and do other things and ride the ride when it is our time.

Yeah her live last week she showed her blood sugar and it was over 300. She wasn't even concerned.

Like girrrrlllll.

Okay, so what is he trying to say because there is no possibility of a basement?

I tried to watch but the moment he said there was a tornado warning I was annoyed and left. There was no tornado warning in central Florida yesterday.

As someone that lived in the central plains and had massive tornado outbreaks that leveled neighborhoods, I can't with the sensationalism.
