Our government uses student loans to raise money without debts accruing on their books. We have sold billions of student debt to the private sector. There is a direct incentive to get more people into university and it has nothing to do with quality of employment prospects

Kill student loans, make university free again, make corporations pay a graduate tax instead, suddenly you'll see how non "required" a degree is for these roles
