Lol im a zillenial so im stuck in the middle. I get where the older folk come from and where the younger ones come from. But to be fair most people are never with out their phone now adays unless they get kidnapped, stranded, etc. which in case would be helpful to know your surroundings and directions but most likely never the case too.

Yeah nice man I started off in a community college as well and got my associates. My recommendations would be a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) its an accredited degree and helps open doors to all the architecture companies (mega corporations). But if its too cost prohibited you can get the Bachelor of Science in Architecture/Architectural studies (just depends on the school) which gives you a pre accredited degree so that you can then join a 2 year accredited Masters program, if the bachelor of science isnt pre accredited then master programs are 3 years. However if you dont want to be licensed (essentially own your own firm or work for prestigious companies) the unaccredited bachelors in architecture is good for residential firms (you still can be licensed its just a longer more tedious process, however better on your wallet but fewer job opportunities).
