Most days I can walk unaided. Some days I need my cane. Rare days I need a walker. Worst days I have a push wheelchair that I'm loathe to use or I just stay home. The "But you were fine yesterday" type comments kill me.
Having a service dog is also treated as an annoyance. It's a delicate dance of avoiding Karens demanding "proof" and dodging people who want to pet her, but often family and friends act like bringing my dog is a grave sin.
The masterpiece that is 1999's The Mummy starring a cast that made me realize I was not straight even as a young child.
No, but because I am bipolar and have issues handling money. I acknowledge that. On payday I send my partner a portion of the money for mortgage/bills/etc and use the rest to try and work on my issues and pay off my own stuff (I'm doing a lot better than before with therapy. I've paid off my car, medical bills, and all but one credit card now.)
And yes, we both agreed to this. We have a contract about the house as a premarital asset of theirs and what I pay so they retain majority share.
That chloroform will instantly knock the person out and they'll wake up later completely fine. You have to inhale it for several minutes and it gives a massive migraine when you wake up.
Don't worry, asthma is also all in my head according to many boomers who see me use an inhaler.
Female masturbation wasn't real - women needed a male partner.
It was a male science teacher.
I thought it was Rapunzel bc gothel calls her "my flower". Whomp whomp.
I love being an adult. Childhood was rough with undiagnosed issues, forced gender roles, mandatory church attendance (I sat through a three hour service with tears dripping off my face from a broken wrist but my parents refused to take me to the hospital under church was over), and dealing with school being too easy academically but too challenging socially.
As an adult I get to do what I want. I have a job I like with a loose dress code. I have a regiment of medication and support that makes life so much easier. I get to plan things I want to do. I can buy whatever I want that interests me and don't worry about it being "for boys" or "for girls" or even "for kids". I can eat what I want which can be a box of berries and a slice of bread.
I got the dog I always wanted, married someone who is my best friend first, spend my work days helping people and my free time being creative.
Her death was just so brutal. Yeah no wonder your men all fled dude, if you kill your own young daughter so horribly who won't you sacrifice?
My only self consolation is that with her screaming and begging she would use up her air faster (suffocation is still a bad way to go but it would be quicker) That level of terror is mind numbing to even think about.
His ER bill was 1250 after a 10% discount bc I work at the connected university. We didn't get pet insurance for him and now regretting it because he's too curious for his own good...

And it's six months before the baby is fully vaccinated, plus two weeks to fully take affect.
"female" is an adjective. It's "female gorilla" or "female cat". Even when referring to humans it's "female Caucasian" or "female officer" or "female civilian". If you say something like "describe the victim", the response is "white, female, blonde, 40s, etc" because they are all adjectives.
By removing the noun, it dehumanizes the person.
"Woman", "lady", "girl" are all nouns. Even species specific terms like "queen" for female bee, or "vixen" for female fox, are nouns. That's why they work.
So if someone uses female as a noun, it shows that A - they are echoing what they hear, and B - they have an idiot's grasp of the English language. When someone does this, I like to assume they mean a female gorilla or any animal that would be embarrassing to use.
Proving there's exceptions to every rule.
Look at that glow up though!!
Cast members know it really means Every Paycheck Comes On Thursday
It makes me super hopeful to see more Disney "sidekicks"! Meeko, Abu, Pascal...
I also really want Disney dogs like pongo and bolt but since most of them talk, I guess they'd be villagers instead of companions.
We have three dogs and a cat. Pet sitters seem to be way easier and cheaper to arrange over babysitters. We go to local events and a nearby theme park often. My partner loves concerts and I can have crafting hobbies while watching horror movies.
Between the two of us we have 19 nieces and nephews plus one baby sibling and three teen siblings. So we have tons of kids around to play with, and it's nice to be able to say "see ya!" Then plan random fun days together.
The whole "ADHD is something you grow out of" can be easily attributed to boys being diagnosed as children and getting wives to do the labor and regulation for them.
NTA, and neither is his STBX. He hasn't even tried to address the issue himself? He made his bed (or didn't) and its time for him to sleep in it.
I work at a library and we're criminally understaffed (as is everyone) so I have to do work while I'm on the circulation desk - none of us have the luxury of standing there smiling for people to walk up to.
So. Many. Boomers. Get pissed! Sorry that you voted to reduce funding for us and I have to plan programs, compile pull and weed lists, balance budgets, review selections, and do research for people like you who can't figure out Google.

A gift is more than the item you're giving - it's an expression of consideration and thought for the person. So getting the person an item they won't use says more than most people like to admit.
It seems many people here are focusing on the monetary value of the gift instead which is fairly superficial.
Magic Kingdom has the most Disney characters and child friendly rides, so it's the best bang for your buck.
Unless they're both huge animal lovers, the Animal Kingdom. But going to a zoo or animal park elsewhere for a lot less would give you a similar experience.
Hi, I have a 5 and 6 year old. I want to take them to Disney world but it’s pretty insane for a price of family of 4. If you had to pick one park to take them what would you recommend?
DisneyWorld
