The writing differences between Andor and the rest of the trash Disney has pumped out is night and day.

Gilroy made the empire absolutely petrifying in Andor, and true ruthlessness to them. Dedra Meero was brutal, someone you would not to get on the wrong side of, and would have no second thoughts in wiping out a community.

Then we got to Obi-Wan; one of the most wanted Jedi in the galaxy manages to walk round the Death Star with a child under his cape, and nobody gives him a second look.

Filoni and Disney have made live action cartoons IMO; the story lines and dialogue would be great in a 20 min cartoon but just fall to bits as a show

Lewis Dobbin “could” make it in the premier league but he lacks some very basics. He’s fast and direct, but his decision making is awful and really commits fullbacks, given how fast he is it’s really strange

Finally looking for forward to a Star Wars show that focuses on story telling, character development and world building.

Season 1 was a fantastic piece of television that really put a light on the ruthlessness of the empire and how they tighten their grip.

The concept of these shows are genuinely good; the execution is appalling. The writing, character development, interactions are awful; yet each one has brilliant bits in it (with the exception of Obi Wan which just terrible)

It’s not a cartoon like Clone Wars, the level of expectation needs to be dialled down massively with more effort put in to the script

An example of what he put on mine (paraphrasing): The roof looks like the original and therefore may be coming to end of life. The old slate tiles will be replaced by newer concrete tiles and therefore be prepared that additional work maybe needed to support extra weight.

Got a builder to pop round and have a look, nothing wrong with it apart from a few tiles that need replacing
