That’s true, I just hate to see the 2nd tier languishing. Especially as in Scotland and Wales there is zero promotion, and in England they keep generating excuses not to promote.
The thing is though, nothing like this is profitable from the outset. It took a very very long time from Scotlands 2 remaining pro teams to find a firm financial footing.
The unions need to be investing all the way down the tree, not just paying bonuses to their CEOs.

Personally I don’t like a kicking heavy game, and drop goals are fine if there is genuinely no way they can push the opposition defence and just want points on the board. But to keep on doing it, shows that a) Argentinas defence wasn’t that great as they were getting space to kick and b) England don’t have faith in their set-piece.
A win is a win, and fair play to England, but just panicking and kicking the ball is a bit boring to me, and WR know that, which is why the bonus point system was introduced in the first place. I say that as a Scotland fan, and we used to rely very heavily on penalties.
