Yes you should and if you do not then booking.com will help resolve the issue Make sure you cancel prior to the written deadlines though

Absolutely - anker is what I have and its been over 5 years with the same one… use it even when not traveling - its a pain trying to find a place to charge something and not be able to go anywhere for a while - easy to put it in a pencil case with all the cords.

I always book with booking.com and usually book with the “free cancellation and pay later” & pay at the hotel.

There is the fine print that states that hotel may charge you a bit earlier but full refund if you cancel by cancellation date. Some charge a month prior.

Also some places you can just book with the “book now pay later free cancellation” but if you want you can pick when to pay ahead of time to break up costs.
