I was told Jeweler’s Mutual Group was great and easy to work with so I used them for my new GMT. Very easy to set up online and I think it was $177 a year with $0 deductible. Other watches are insured through USAA but think I’ll switch them to Jewelers Mutual.

I still don’t know how/why I got it but very thankful. I love the Batman but really wanted the Pepsi due to the history behind it. They had the new GMT on display and it looked great in person, I liked it much more than I thought I would. I have to get my kids through a couple more years of college though before getting any more watches!

Thank you, I still can’t believe I got it. I initially wanted the Rootbeer thinking I had a chance to get that then changed it to a Batman/Batgirl. Then I just told my SA that I really wanted the Pepsi but understood they are extremely hard to get but I would rather wait if I had any chance of getting one. It was my dream watch and couldn’t believe it when they called me.

The GMT on jubilee seemed to fit great at the AD but outside in the heat seems just slightly tight.

Datejust is a nice watch I think but that might depend on your age and occupation. I would possibly consider the Submariner if younger or you want something more casual/sportier.

I saw it for the first time in person Saturday at my AD. It’s a very nice, classy, looking watch. Looks much better in person than photos I think.

A guy I work with recently bought a Pepsi (used I think but not sure) in Japan but I’m not sure what the whole story was. He’s a US citizen ( I had to check his passport) but maybe he has family in Japan.

I have a question and I’m sure a lot of you will know the answer. I think I need to add another link. My wrist is about 7 1/2” and there are not any more links in the box. . I originally thought maybe they forgot to put them in but thinking that’s what it came with. The micro adjustment is all the way out. The AD adjusted it out and it felt fine but I think I might prefer another link in it. I’m going to contest the AD tomorrow, they are closed on Mondays.

I agree, there are exceptions at certain AD’s but making the connection is top priority I think.
