No. The MMR and MMRV vaccines are different. You can have two doses of the MMR vaccine, one at 12 months and one at 18months if you want to. It's the MMRV that waits till age 4.

EDIT: It just means you need to get the Varicella vaccine separately....this is what happened to my daughter who got two MMR vaccines in that 12-18month window, and had to get a Varciella vaccine seperately to be up to date in school.
