Hey all, quick question for the Grand Canyon experts here--what exactly are considered the beginning and end points of The Box?
That’s helpful—I thought I’d read that it went all the way to Cottonwood.
It's a little bit of both, to tell the truth. Heat avoidance was probably my top concern, just because I've heard extra scary things about The Box, but as aaron_in_sf points out, I can understand it's not like things magically chill out the second you pass a certain mile marker.
So beyond that, I was just curious because I felt like I was seeing different landmarks described as the beginning/ending and was having trouble figuring out an official ruling!
City Commission ElectionsQuestion / Recommendations
Hope this isn't a super-divisive post, but I'm curious if folks have decided who they're casting their votes for in the upcoming city commission election.
I'm attaching a recent Record-Eagle article (including some annoying web artifacting, sorry!) about a recent candidate panel that may be informative--although it doesn't offer too much of substance to distinguish folks beyond their views on TIF 97.
Also: If you're a city resident and have other resources you're leaning on as you make these decisions, I'd love to take a look! Thanks!
