Hey everyone! Basically the title. I remember seeing a bunch of screenshots leak out a little while ago, but I never got to save it. Anyone got the link? Thanks!
I’m on a Manga kick right now so I’m making my way through the available volumes of The Summer Hikaru Died.
Sent a message today but it’s the 4th - Waiting on a response. I’ll be back with an update~
I'm definitely doing for the Weeks again. Hoping for some charming covers! Although now that I think of it, maybe I'll go Mega Weeks. I would love a Leuchtturm style planner. Weeks as a B6. But that's not happening lol.
Same. I can tell he’s so much more fun than his brother and his dad. Like yeah, he’s not the sharpest tool in the box but I don’t think he’s as stupid as he let on either.
Ditto! Although that Mother weeks looks gorgeous too omg
I haven’t seen this movie in such a long time, but at this point, I’m waiting for a 4K release to watch it. Or hell, maybe I should’ve even come back to theaters at least once by now.
The Daytrippers every Black Friday
I’m in the same boat, but it’s really tricky. I really like the iOS/Apple ecosystem. I have a small android phone that I use on the side and it’s just so chintzy.
I’ve been using it for 10 years here in the US. I’ve literally never had this happen. I’m sure it does, but it’s not that common.
I don'd know if you're in the US, but the highly rated Panasonic UB-450, once excluded from the US, is finally available here. and it's only $164 right now. I'd go for that. It has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Edit to add: I have a Panasonic as well and the upscaling is phenomenal. 1080p movies, all my Criterions that aren’t 4K basically look 4K. As a brand, Panasonic is the winner and even legendary in the 4K Blu ray subreddit. Seriously, it seems everyone there has Panasonic.
Not "hate" because you know, trends come and go. But I'm tired of the phrase "_____ is crazy/wild"
I saw this movie for the first time this year and I still think about it. The way that he teaches him how to love slowly. It’s a really well done movie.
That’s not really a surprise. It’s just amazing every time I see something new from them like an $80 tee and fast passes you have to pay for. Both my siblings work for Disney and they come home with the most annoying stories.
I am panromantic asexual, and this sounds exactly like the kind of marriage. I would love to have so.
Of course! Good luck! The pay is great and it's worth it.
It's interesting if you're interested if that makes sense. I absolutely absolutely love it. There are some freaky stuff that goes on right under the radar.
EDIT: There are also fraud departments that work with law enforcement that work remote. They're known internally as "Subpoena" departments. Lots of criminal justice degrees in those departments.
I think it will help. A LOT. Because you have to be, well, analytical for the job.
In my case, and all my co-workers, it wasn't necessary. I went for an ACAMS and Anti Money Laundering certification and it basically opened more doors. I started at the bank at an entry-level position doing something called currency transaction reports. Basically, they're reports that you have to file when a client brings in or leaves with more than $10,000 in cash. Repetitive but easy. I did that for a while, and then the bank offered to pay for more certifications. If I would've paid on my own, they would've been about two grand each. I do have a bachelors degree, but it has absolutely nothing to do with finance. Banking is an interesting place to be because the benefits are great and the pay is decent even on the lowest rungs. And because you can work your way up pretty quickly.
When I started, I was on the phones doing customer service. Within a couple of years I transferred departments and then a couple of years from there I was a full-blown analyst. Now that I have these certifications, I can go basically anywhere.
All that to say, I would recommend working for a bank and checking out their entry-level positions in their fraud department.
It's nice to get a good set. I recently picked up the Sony Classics 30th box and it's... ass. Who's clamoring for Still Alice in 4K anyway? Basically paid $150 for Call Me by Your Name, SLC Punk and Synecdoche, New York.
It's not a stupid question at all and I'm happy to give my input. Not enough people talk about this kind of thing, really.
If you want to get it done at a barbershop, go to any proper barbershop (e.g. Not Supercuts, not a chain etc. - but like the red, blue, white pole Italian, Dominican, etc barbershops) and ask for a beard trim or shape up.
For me though, So I normally do it myself these days by trimming with scissors or a buzzer. This minute long video pretty much covers how to groom a beard if you're growing it out. You can get a Remington or similar buzzer on Amazon for like $20 or so. Here's a more thorough video by GQ that's pretty helpful. I will say though, they're fusty so ignore the super expensive equipment they use it's not necessary lol. Finally, if you want a more rustic/wild/lumberjack beard, This is another excellent tutorial.
Also, don't forget to condition and wash your beard. I have very sensitive skin so I use Kalamazoo beard wash by LUSH and Revive Hair Moisturizer by LUSH as well. They're both pretty great for me and you might like them but there's lots of alternatives too.
It may take some time to get used to it, but once you find a routine that works for you and a style you like, the world is your oyster!
I used to be avidly against WFH. "Why would I EVER want to bring work home?!" - now? I can't possibly imagine doing it. I don't love working either way. But I love not having to pay so much more for gas, tolls, outfits (boring work outfits I mean cos I do love fashion). I also love having my time. My 15 Minute break? Throw rice in the rice cooker and laundry in the machine. Lunch? Actually have lunch and move my stuff to the dryer. I do so many little chores on my breaks and lunches that when I'm finally free for the day, I'ma actually free.
They suck
