I think this gets overlooked because most people probably don't know how well documented her life was. Tons of testimony from both her original trial as well as her trial after her death, from her and people who knew her personally. Absolutely insane life.

The issue of regional popularity seems to affect every miniatures game except 40k. I don't think Shatterpoint is unique in that respect, though it's more pronounced because it's newer. I would expect it to settle out around MCPs level as releases keep coming.

It was basically a completely new character. They didn't feel connected. But Saw in the clone wars was such a minor character it didn't matter anyway. 

Feel the same way about the Rebels characters in Ahsoka (including Ahsoka herself) though at least there was a clumsy effort there to visually connect the animated and love action versions.

I don't think Vader and Ozzel were that far apart in this scene, Ozzel was on the Executor bridge and Vader was in his room, presumably within walking distance. Maybe he can do it within a few km. 

In Ahsoka particularly, it felt like the writers didn't understand there should be a difference between a cannon on a ship and a pistol in somebody's hand. Ahsoka shouldn't be able to to deflect laser cannon shots with a lightsaber, and she certainly shouldn't be able to run through turbolaser fire unscathed. 

I hadn't even thought about how common animals being blasterproof is, because that's a trope that's so common and hardly exclusive to Star Wars. It would be nice to see more variety. 

I suspect it's too difficult or costly to model CGI monsters with blaster wounds, so they're just "immune". 

Being a TIE pilot was supposed to be a pretty prestigious position and I can only assume it paid a lot more. 

Being an Imperial Army driver is the most logical choice if you aren't suicidal though. 

This is exactly it. They could release every main character from the films in ~a year, and then sales would crater. It's better for the game to drip feed it and encourages people to buy squads they wouldn't otherwise use. 

Card feels like a bit of a flavor miss? It's a very wacky concept with a very vanilla effect.

Even if they don't do anything that directly resolves the issues, every character (from murderous psychopaths to selfless heroes to emotionless objects) immediately becomes attached to them. Anybody who doesn't like Guda is an obvious villain with no redeeming qualities. Being a Mary Sue is less about the character and more about how the world reacts to and forms around the character.

That said, this is very common in video game narratives. Even in "good" video game stories. BioWare games are an obvious offender.

No. Age of Sigmar is multitudes more successful than Warhammer Fantasy ever was. The Old World is a specialist game product being done by one of the GW side teams. GW has dedicated teams for both the development of 40k and Age of Sigmar which are their flagship products.

Probably the most interesting aspect of stormtroopers (if it were to be explored) is that they're supposedly the most fanatical of Imperials, literally throwing their lives away without fear. Thrawn's night troopers even sign up to do it repeatedly.

It would be interesting to see that explored in some way (what kind of people become stormtroopers and what kind of training do they get). I initially thought Cyril was being set up to become a stormtrooper officer in Andor.

There's no chance they ever get set up as an elite threat at this point. That's not what they are.

I am in awe that Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra are able to close doors on their way to Thrawn to stop the zombies, but tactical genius Thrawn couldn't close the doors before they got there.
