Wouldn’t be the first time. We also have some random pelicans down in the Gibraltar area from time to time. Climate going a little haywire and it seems the birds are noticing.

Every bone in my body says “stay in the cab, seat belt on” no matter what’s going on outside. Most cases you are infinitely safer inside your machine…..and then I saw this….

All the Fed has is a hammer (interest rates) so everything looks like a nail. We need additional action beyond just dicking around with rates and “announcing” potential rate cuts (that they already know aren’t coming) to artificially spike markets.

Maybe it’s your location but god damn bro…I pay $2250 mortgage on 3k sq ft, 5 bedroom with a finished basement, 3 car garage across from a beautiful corn field…gtfo the city!

Don’t worry my friend! You’re going to love it here in Amazonville USA! Right on the corner of Bezos Lane and Musk Boulevard the new company sponsored general store fulfills all your needs. Buy what you need at great deals with your “better than money (tm)” Bezos bucks!

The brazen gouging since Covid tells me that. 10-20k tax credit would be immediately followed by 10-20k hikes in asking prices. People don’t even hide it anymore.

Wildflowers are just pretty weeds….thats not going to fly around here. Native, flowering plants sound nice though.

Motorcycles deal with being missed in plain sight. That’s why the “look twice, save a life” campaign exists. Loud pipes save lives too…anything that increases the chances that today’s overly distracted drivers will notice a bike is a big deal.

The biggest danger to motorcycles are other drivers.

How does someone just sitting there in their home, while the value goes up outside of their own doing, a “lifestyle that’s costing their children”? Do you read what you write? That doesn’t even make sense without more context. Unless we are to the point that owning a home when other people don’t constitutes some kind of harmful lifestyle I’m going to need more context.

Nothing like the guy complaining about how Elmo ruined Twitter on X…..

The person posting this meme most likely makes around $45k….so they are about half a million short of ever reaching that 37% tax bracket.

Well now we’re switching subjects….hard truth is that large scale, functional mass transit isn’t coming to America. It’s just not and the faster people accept that the faster we can move on to solutions that actually have a chance of being implemented.

The deeper you get into the stages of capitalism the more pronounced the boom/bust cycles become. When you come out of them more wealth gets concentrated to the top. It’s by design.

It’s true in some states but it shouldn’t be. Doing your time and paying your debt to society should’ve concluded when you leave incarceration. We, as a country, do a horrible job of letting people put it behind them. The only exception should be people who are felons due to voting based crimes.

The reason they can still run is easier. If a felon was incapable of running for office then the opposite party could continuously charge their opponents with crimes until one stuck, making them ineligible for office.

Just to cut the horse shit off at the pass: no that is NOT what’s happening currently…..

It’s just another version of the old 80/20 loans we used to have to avoid PMI. This is not the same as sub-prime mortgages.

I used to listen to Ben Shapiro before he went total Trump nut bag on a dime during the whole “stop the steal” era. I try to stay open minded but it’s gotten really hard to find reasonable voices on the “other side”.

If we gave them billions per year in perpetuity the same way we’re doing for fossil fuels then yes they are “the only ones we will ever need to give”. Something tells me you don’t realize the endless amount of money we throw to the oil industry in government dollars every year….even while they are wildly profitable. The millions of acres of federal land leases where mineral rights are gifted for drilling. Helping to fund a charging network and power grid upgrades would be cheap by comparison.

Not the individual stations. We’re talking about massive subsidies on refineries, drilling rigs, pipelines, storage…. We still give big oil billions n subsidies now while it’s one of the most profitable industries on the globe. Educate yourself.

2 cases of pink eye and a cold. This sub is downvoting talking about bubonic plague death rates FOH with that disinformation.

If the fence is at the property line you (and your neighbor) may have to dig a little bit on each side to facilitate the water flow. Assuming your properties come together at a low drainage point.

So….the flu. Ok we good let’s move along. No need to go into pandemic panic mode.
