How much do you guys usually bring with you when doing a contract, first seasonal job was year round so I brought all my stuff and I need to figure out what to bring for a 5 month period
The whole speech is great “that’s very moment someone wants your body- not so much the feeling of it” also stuck with me too
I’m at Saint Mary also flew in here, I wish I brought more winter stuff, like gloves and more jackets/coats it was just snowing here yesterday. Weather can change on you so bring clothes you can layer
I think page is worth it if you have a car you’re only a couple hours from flagstaff and Sedona, I like the community in Page a lot too, but not a lot around the immediate area They do housing trips too they’ve gone to Bryce, Grand Canyon, bearizona and other things

Just got a Preseasonal offer to work in Whitefish Montana doing housekeeping until my retail assistant supervisor job starts in Saint Mary.
Anybody ever been to Whitefish? I saw on the FB parkies page that some people go to start a preseason job but will get stuck there all season what’s the likely hood of that happening? It’s in grouse lodge
25y also have huge driving anxiety, year round in lake Powell rn. During season it’s fine bc there is a shuttle that will take u into town but the times you can go are pretty limited, I feel like I would be having a better time with a car, not a lot of access to hikes and stuff like that in the area without one, they will do housing trips during summer to check out the surrounding area like flagstaff or Bryce Canyon or things like that. I’m going to glacier this summer which i here is better for car-less people like us
I was in a similar position, I am 25 and lived with my parents in Florida until this summer and didn’t save any money, I took a leap of faith and went to Arizona (still here for a year round job) it hasn’t been necessarily an amazing experience but it did pull my out of my funk and I’m definitely trying another seasonal job this summer
I’m 25 one of my best friends here at lake Powell is 32, I dorm with a 52, 32, and 25 year old as well there’s a better mix of ages than you thing

So in the midst of a tearful goodbye to my parents after my first season and moving out for the first time, I left my wallet in the rental car. They were too far out to start driving back when I realized so they’re shipping it to me. It was supposed to come today but it hasn’t yet. I have another I9 form I need with me but I’m scared the wallet this my ID isn’t going to get here before my early orientation tomorrow, if they see it’s on the way and housing made a copy when I first signed in of my ID, do you think I’ll be fine?
EDIT: it was fine was able to do orientation I just have to show them the original when it comes in the mail
